The first trophy is the hardest, I want us to get one as quickly as possible.
Conference league is important

Are we ready for Champions league?.....missing out on the Europa, is a huge step up.
Don't get me wrong, I want to achieve it, but I wonder, if we are actually ready for it.
I think we are about as capable of competing as anyone outside the top 3.
We utilise our squad quite well and will have extra players available next season.
....and we have uni!

Is it too late in the season to loan any players to Norwich?
-
That point was a good one last night, we didn't deserve any so it's a bonus.
Maybe if we were trying to win the league things would look different but we should be happy with the points haul over these last few games as it's on target to get 4th place.

Agreed. I was referring to Kamara. We need another Kamara-type to get us through to October.
I don't think it's any coincidence that Doug's from has dipped without Kamara.
Yep I realised you were talking about him after I replied. He's a fine midfielder but not really as dominant as we need.
To evolve we need a player who can't be bullied. Someone to hold the ball if we need.

We have one but he's out, probably at least until October. We need a backup. After Tielemans got hurt today, we were back to Doug and McGinn in the double pivot, which rarely works well.
Tielemans and kamara are both great, but neither are a dominant midfielder...we need a beast, someone who probably fights bears on his off days.

It's definitely something that needs more of a gameplan for next season
I'd say we need a strong dominant centre midfielder

High pressing physical sides are emery's achilles heal. They fully deserved to win that tonight, we were lucky to get a point.
However good sides get a point when they should lose, and a point could make the difference with spurs run in.

Players should be well rested now, Dougie back in, everyone on form. Should be a good win.
We are worse with a rest

Why aren't (plastic) milk bottles air/water tight once they're opened?
Is it cheaper to manufacture them that way? Is it to let the milk breathe? Is it to force you to not store the milk horizontally?
Why?
I've always thought the same about wine.
How do screw caps work?
The whole point of a cork is to keep it air tight. Even unopened surely screw tops let some air in, which would damage the wine.

Rb has always been a problem area in respect to other positions.
If your Premier league all time list contains the likes of Gary Charles then there is a problem.
My choice would be delaney, although even he looks weak in an all time list.

We've played 15 more games than Tottenham.
Does european football really need to be like that.
Surely you could have a cup where the winner doesn't need to play 15 to 20 games to win it. Presumably its just money driving that.
I think you have answered your own question.

If Spurs were as good as we're led to believe they should be the ones 6 points clear given their fixtures.
Imagine 'angeball' with a good dollop of extra European games thrown in.....

Yep, need decent attacking options from the bench during this frenetic period
