If we had either Kamara or McGinn we would win it but not without them.
I don't think our midfield is good enough without either.
I'd agree if wolves were full strength, but they are missing key players too; They are not confident here.
Our squad is better than there's so we can't use a couple of players missing as an excuse really.

He actually had a pretty consistent run when he first joined, after that first international break between middle of Feb to middle of March he started every game and his minutes were 77, 90, 90 85, 80, 76, 90, 90.
He was never injured under Gerrard.
It's only because most of us wanted buendia to play and the injury gods smited us!

The real kick in the balls is the fact that we could use him atm.

Emery said (before the west ham game) he is going to assess where we are on gameweek 32 and create a new objective for the team.
Surely the objective is clear now?

After spending all season moaning about fixture congestion and injuries, Newcastlle have arranged a series of post-season friendlies, a few days after the PL season ends, in Australia.
Not pre season friendlies. Post season friendlies. In the same summer as the euros
Bunch of clearings in the woods.
Bet the players can't wait!

Hwang not back for another month either, possibly Cunha misses the game against us too. Good time to be facing them.
Heard cunha could be back, but he will be obviously rusty.

I'm convinced he's a bloody good manager.
There's something likeable about him!
Good to see homegrown talent coming through at the highest level, especially with the odds seemingly set against him.

It's by no means certain that we will change shirt sponsors in the summer, but I wouldn't bet against it.

If they appeal 4 points then i hope the punishment is increased. There has to be some acceptance somewhere without endless appeals.
Its a pathetic punishment anyway, just move on with it.

Think they haven't rescheduled the Chelsea game either. Might leave them a backlog at end of the season

This international break has come at the right time for once!

Guess Forest will appeal but you'd like to think 4 points is OK? Think they will have enough to stop up.
Id never appeal if I were them...got off light and there would be a real danger it could be increased.

Ref made that an absolute misery. Had so many chances to win this game so it’s a shame we didn’t get all three but I’ll take the point. Still keeps us up.
Definately did and was going to slate him, but he did his job at the end so all is forgiven!

A point gained for me. Thought we would lose that without 3 of our 4 first team midfield.
Diaby looked good when he came on, which will be a real blessing for the run in. We have to find a way to start him as he can be a real game changer.

He will fit right in!

perhaps the fan base will now accept that having 4 players who can play in central midfield is dumb when some of them are first team in other positions like McGinn or often coming on as a sub in other positions like Tielemans..... The same goes for right back
Where are the resources to keep these other top players in reserve?

I thought spurs looked stronger quicker and more incisive than us today and the right team won.
I'm not too bothered about the change in system, I'm glad we have a manager capable of changing his system and tbf it works most of the time.
Watkins looked a broken man today, right from the first challenge; both central defenders had him so well covered that he seemed to overthink everything he did. Sods law that as soon as one went off that could have freed him up they scored and the game completely changed.
I loved seeing mcginn go into rage mode, on another day that could have inspired the team to put up a bit of a fight, but unfortunately bad timing may have cost us more than 3 points; at least he was up for the fight.
Congratulations to spurs they were the better side today.

Idiotic thing to do when potentially there was still plenty of time left in the game...
If we had another 3 days we would have lost the game the way we were going..we needed something different, at least he tried.
Crap outcome but don't get on his back for it!

We’re in a good place. Its good for the club to be back involved in big games again
2-1 Villa
I think you need to check your '4' and '0' keys as they seem to be playing up.

We could be in for a difficult game if pau and mcginn don't make it, good to see jj is 50/50, so it's not too bad an injury.
4-0 villa
Edit...looks like mcginn is OK
4-0

From a spurs site..clicky
QuoteJust had a cheeky little look on Villa Talk....
**** me they are cocky, 4 nils and all sorts of nonsense being predicted on there.
Think they are in for a very rude awakening Sunday.I think they would be lucky to get away with just a 4-nil tbh!
