  1. NRC is putting Makelele to shame in this game if only he played for chelsea perhaps he would get the respect he deserves there is a good player in there somewhere.
  2. Heskey on.... are we aiming for a 0 - 0? lmao at the pundit Chris Coleman "Neil Warnock is coming on wait a minute my mistake i mean Stephen Warnock id love to see Neil get in this squad at his age" Dont give MON any idea's ffs.
  3. Fernandez looks a decent player for valencia premiership experience, not exactly a Milner replacement but could get him on the cheap because of valencia's financial situation?
  4. could see MON spunking 20 million of the milner money on Keane Bentley or Jenas while spurs reduce their wage bill by offloading some of their shitter injury prone players and using the money to sign stephen ireland.
  5. according to the metro city are going to offer us cash + shaun wright phillips. if this is true what is it with city making these derisory offers id rather have aiden mcgreedy than SWP he's shite. just stump up the cash and ireland or pure cash otherwise **** off and stop wasting our time.
  6. he's not exactly an MON type player either is he? Foreign Hothead good player but not MON's cup of tea imo.
  7. Heart condition, exceptionally unlikely he'll play again. He hasn't since October 08. He's not officially retired yet. Thanks for the headsup id use wikipedia but cant on my comp at work due to IP ban changed alex mccleish and david sullivan's homepage info to many times and got banned for "abuse" lol
  8. being in a cup final is all well and good but not winning the thing doesnt really accomplish anything. When your playing teams such as chelsea and manure as well its not a fair playing field they have a man extra including the referee ofc. For us to take the next step up we need the revenue from finishing top 4 to attract a better calibre of player and to keep our current crop of best players we need to also be playing champions league football.
  9. retired? i thought he was in his mid twenties or was it for medical reasons?
  10. why the hell have we not been linked with ruben de le red yet? has his heart gave in i know he had a problem with it but i recall a thread on here where many wanted to sign the bloke when he was on loan at getafe. wasnt in the spanish wc squad either?
  11. its to soon for milner to be considered against walsall so why shouldnt he be in the squad to compete in the preseason cup in portugal? we need our best players dont we? a cup is a cup i dont think he will escape the wrath of villa fans who will be attending though.
  12. i think those thinking we will be getting milner for 24 million will be dissapointed it will be more like 14 million and 10 mill spunked up the wall on Aiden McGreedy when it should be 15 million and Steven Ireland MON talking up McGreedy recently has me worried.
  13. whats he been smoking? rolled up arab dollars?
  14. unfortunatly being a box to box midfielder means being able to pass the ball if he thinks he is one of those he's mistaken more of a bollox to bollox midfielder his best position is DM/Ballwinner breaking up play he's a natural athlete.
  15. someone will need to get the colouring pens out again, same scenario this time but with milner instead? fans wont be pleased with this turncoat i can imagine their displeasure being magnified twofold considering he's jumped ship so quickly.
  16. Once the parasite leaves id use the money for Defour/Ireland - 10 Million Witzel/or another hard man that can pass - 8 Million Robbie Keane - 5 Million Nathaniel Clyne - 2 Million
  17. Do you trust MON to spend the so called 25 million wisely if we get it? Would we be able to attract a player of equal quality to Milner or better with that money? After all were just a feeder club in essence as soon as anybody with financial clout comes calling we sell great message to send out to the media in regards to our champions league ambitions. Not much difference between us and the people who finished 10th, were all in the same boat the only teams that matter in this league are the top 4 and man city. The financial gap thereafter is to vast. If we fail to make any progress this season the proud history bright future we were hooked into believing under the lerner PR regime will look increasingly more bleak especially when the rest of our best assets are stripped from us under the false guise of them wanting to "win titles and trophies" when its really about the 100k a week they will be recieving in their paycheck every week. Football today is about Greed and we dont have enough money to compete.
  18. If Milner doesnt commit to the club by signing a new contract i dont want him playing for AVFC for another season for 20 - 25 million id sell him to man city. I know they are loaded but come on Milner is not a 30 million pound player even in todays over inflated market. Just because he came into his own last season playing in the middle doesnt mean he will have the same impact next season. Teams will find him out his shock/unknown quantity value will diminish after clubs look at the tapes and find a weakness same as A.Young Im tired of these players who have no loyalty to their club we took a big risk on milner at the time 12 million was a rediculous price he owes MON big time. Similar to Barry but at least Barry gave us decent years service before he jumped ship No player is bigger than this football club and we wont be held to ransom, Milner enjoy your time in the elite squad at the football club with no soul.
  19. Similar to lukas podolski prolific at international level couldnt hit a barn door domestically.
  20. that Gyan bloke has impressed me his link up play with the midfield is superb and has a bit of pace kind of like agbonlahor but with a brain what club does he play for
  21. hasnt doyle already said he isnt leaving wolves? was on SSN not so long back if he isnt paying much interest in joining arsenal or man united why would he be interested in us. Kevin Doyle is paying little attention to rumours claiming he is a target for Arsenal and Manchester United. The Irishman saw his profile rise considerably during the 2009/10 campaign, helping him to draw admiring glances from afar. Doyle was one of Wolves' most consistent performers over the course of the season, helping them to comfortably avoid relegation out of the Premier League. He has only been with the Midlanders since last summer, but that has done little to curb speculation regarding his future. A number of top clubs are believed to have been impressed by his work rate and hold up play, with possible bids believed to be in the pipeline. Confidence Doyle is refusing to read too much into the stories, though, and claims he would be more than happy to start next season with his current employers. He told Sky Sports News: "There is always a bit of speculation. It's good for your confidence but that's about it. I have no reason to think I will not be at Wolves next season. "I have no reason to believe otherwise and I will be very happy if I am. I have enjoyed my year there so far. I think we have done very well and I feel I have done well there too. It's been a good year for me. "I think everyone at Wolves has had a great season. We were favourites for relegation and we have comfortably, in the end, survived with three or four games to go and played some good football along the way. "It's flattering to be linked with other clubs, it shows how well the club has done this season."
  22. Every player has their price, Milner is a good player is he replaceable? for 30 million we could strengthen a number of positions however this damages the club in terms of our ambition letting one of our best players go to one of our closest rivals we may as well ring the dinner bell to other clubs to snap up yet more of our brightest talent.
