Which comes back to my point. How much money do you need really?
They're all multimillionaires. Their families are already set up for generations.
Why not just go play somewhere you'll actually enjoy (and still probably get paid more than most people can dream of)
Makes no sense to me to drag yourself to somewhere you probably won't like living to play in front of zero fans in a soulless place just so you can sit on a slightly larger throne of cash and have a few more £20s to wipe your arse with.
Ah, but you’re asking the wrong crowd.
Smaug, Thorin (son on Thrain) and any conservative MP will explain much better than anyone here.

In fairness I don't think anyone else, including the refs know what the offside rules are at the moment. You need a Masters in astrophysics to understand them.
Emery must have on of these

To be fair, we’ve won it.
Forest have won it twice. Their deal should be double ours.

Off to read Chelsea forums for some entertainment

I cannot imagine anything more embarrassing for the new owners and CEO than buying a football club, sacking a successful manager who was flying high, installing a controversial ‘big name’ manager, claiming he will bring ‘no fear’ style football, going on a historic bad run (worst in the league), and then sacking said manager at the first opportunity. Ladies and gentlemen: the new Birmingham City Football Club. Same as the old one.
Maybe we all just mis-heard and what they actually said was ‘no points’

It’s the whole ‘he was a good player, he’ll be a good manager’ bullshit.
’we need a big name’ bullshit.
The sooner people realise this crap, and start to reward people for success, the sooner football benefits.
I think it’s horrible that these ‘big names’ jump ahead of the people working their bollocks off for success in the lower leagues.

You persuaded me.
4-0 @ 80-1 £10.

United slight favourites with the bookies
Odds are calculated according to how much money goes on.
Plenty of deluded Man U fans out there affecting the market.

I feel like that's a bit on you to be honest. He'd barely played for Chelsea for ages, it was always a 'maybe we can get him going again' loan signing not a guarantee.
Oh 100% on me.
Was delighted with the signing, and expected so much.
But after I watched him let a Leeds player run past and and he made 0% effort at stopping him, it was over in my head.

He's not even remotely in the conversation for 'worst loan signing', come on. Barkley put in two or three excellent performances (the Liverpool game, one against Southampton) and scored a last-minute winner against Leicester. Remind me which game Josh Onomah excelled in again? Or Tiago Ilori?
In terms of expectations - he’s by far the worst.
We’ve had worse loan signings… but none that I expected anything from.

A draw agaisnt Sheffield United is as good as a loss.
Need to pick that ball up and run back as fast as possible.
15 more seconds could have been the difference in 3 points or 1 point
Celebration time is added on.

Also the seat next to me in doug Ellis is not occupied by a season ticket holder for the past 2 years, more often than not it's empty.
Total guess, but I assume most people would want at least 2 seats next to each other?

I know their results have been going downhill recently but Nuno is not an upgrade on Cooper.
He’s lasted 17 and 12 games in his last two appointments and I reckon he might make 21 games before being sacked in the summer.
Their owner is like a budget Tom Boehly…
Who himself is like a budget Todd Boehly.

Any arabic speakers able to translate what it says?
I asked Mark Regev. He said it says ‘Abdul is on hostage watching duty on Wednesdays and Fridays’

34 shots in 90 minutes.
Thats a shot every 2:36 (roughly how long EMI takes on a goal kick)
And failed to score.
Hilarious from every angle.

That was a lot closer than it needed to be.
There is an alarming drop off when we play our second string.
Zaniolo MOM because:
a, the rest of the team were even shitter than him.
b, he scored his first and what proved to be the team's very important goal.
The second string is poor, and unnecessarily bringing on Dendonker and Chambers could have been very costly for us.
He was already on.

These are the kind of teams we struggle against though and we are tired. It's going to be no easy feat to maintain title form through these games. Brentford, United, Everton, Fulham Away games, none of those are easy, particularly for a team that struggles on the road compared to at home
Stop pissing on Unai’s cornflakes!
(You are absolutely correct though. That forest game is really, really annoying me right now)

Because we aren't in the title race. We'll have done exceptionally well if we finish fourth.
I’m going to be pedantic.
But we’re in a title race, until we’re not.

His output was more than Bailey, Watkins and Diaby combined yesterday.
He did well. He made an impact.
Before he came on we didn’t look like doing anything at all. After he came on we looked a bit less like not doing anything at all.
