Only once under Emery have we gone 3 matches without a victory.  That was last year against Leicester, at Man City and Arsenal.  If we can't manage 1 victory in our next 3 matches against arguably a weaker grouping of teams, it will be almost an unprecedented run under Emery and a monumental collapse on our part.

3 draws might even be enough!

I think the doom and gloom posters have had a tough season. They deserve an early break.

    Would be lovely right?!

I don't know I just get the feeling it will go to the wire. All the injuries we've had and with what happened with 5th not getting CL. Just points towards another twist. I hope not and I would expect Spurs to get a maximum of two points in their next two games.

I'd be wary of Brighton, they're on a bad run, we have good record against them, and we have been on a good run, but these kind of records are dangerous because they inevitably end at some point. Also for some reason their fans really hate us, I had a look on their forum after our U21s beat them, and they were really bitter about that, a number of comments alluding to how they were looking forward to ending our Champions League hopes towards the end of the season

Unfortunately for us they won't play the same team as today. A lot of their players are getting back and a few were on the bench today.

You don't think us beating Brighton and Spurs losing both away games to Chelsea and Liverpool is a realistic possibility?

Of course but I thought winning both games against Brentford and Chelsea when leading 2-0 was a realistic possibility. I just think there are some twists and turns left yet.

I feel like last night was 2 points dropped than 1 point gained. We didn't turn up and this is the confusing thing about this team: brilliant when you least expect it (Arsenal), then shite when you're expecting a big performance like last night.

4th is far from done. I fear it will go down to the last day which will be very stressful.

We have to hope Spurs only take 1-2 points from their three tough games this week, very possible. But even then they still have Burnley and Sheffield Utd which should yield 6 more points.

Brighton, Liverpool, Palace isn't an easy run in, especially when we have the first two straight after European games. Palace are in ridiculously good form.

I suspect if we lose Tielemans and Martinez for any length of time we will finish 5th. If they are ok we should do just enough to finish 4th. It's that simple

It’s not though. Plenty of drama and twists and turns left yet.

I don’t agree re City…with nothing to play for City would be very dangerous because they will just play with their toy (Spurs).  City are deadly in two periods, firstly when chasing the last dozen of games or more of a season and secondly when they have nothing to play for because they are free and the quality shines.

Do you not remember how they played against Brighton and Brentford last season when the title was won?

  7. Whether last night was a point gained or two lost will depend on Spurs result today. If they win then it’s likely City have nothing to play for against them in the penultimate game. That would mean Spurs would more than likely get at least another 12 points.

In this case, the students in question weren't targeting people for being Israeli though, they were targeting Jews for being Jews. It's why all the Ivy League university heads were brought before a hearing and absolutely failed at being decent human beings, and several of them later lost their jobs.

Go to your local Jewish school and look at whoever protests outside and see if you think they're standing up for what's right against kids aged 6-18. Ganging up on someone for being Jewish or Israeli just because they happened to be born into a family of said nationality or ethnicity doesn't make it 'standing up' for anything. Just like tearing down posters of hostages isn't standing up for anything other than being a massive "%#¤#"%. Bringing your rage to people who have absolutely nothing to do with what is going on in Gaza is just silly, and in most cases that I've seen, implicitly racist. Never ever in my life did I think someone yelling 'Go back to Poland!' to a bunch of students in the US would be seen as 'standing up for what's right'.

The mob is let loose once again, and in many cases Jews are the target. Thankfully cooler British and American heads prevail and aid the tiny minorities in the form of police protection - but in my grown life I've never had this much obnoxious racism aimed at people in my community that I have starting on Oct. 7th. It's backed up by several organisations who see direct links between these 'protests' and a dramatic increase in anti-semitisim. Many people just can't contain themselves, they can't separate a state from a people or a religion. It's mind boggling when you see second or third generation Muslims participate in these things when you consider what they went through after 9/11.

U.S. Antisemitic Incidents Skyrocketed 360% in Aftermath of Attack in Israel, according to Latest ADL Data

    tpp

In the UK the statistics are even worse.

Yeah it’s a big shame and frankly disgusting people can’t separate the two. I wasn’t talking about those incidents tbf.

Anyway this picture proves that being Jewish doesn’t equate to supporting Israel policies

  10. I normally park on Upper Sutton St and make sure the car is turned around so I can get out quickly or near the Power League (both free). Park Road is also decent but you have to get there early. Short walk to the ground too.

  11. I don’t think it’s an issue to believe we won’t catch Liverpool who are 8 points ahead of us. Yes they are struggling but it’s Liverpool, they are more than likely going to turn it around and win at least 3 out of 4 games. We just need to concentrate on our job starting with Chelsea. Win the next two and top 4 is sewn up imo.

For some reason I had a conference league spot for a league finish and one for the league cup winner :)  That's not the case, so we're not guaranteed yet. Dagnammit :)

I mean it’s all but guaranteed. I’ve already renewed my passport.
