Anyone else noticed how ill RL looks?? Could it be no otheer manager wants to take the helm and he's seriously realised how difficult it is running a club while living the other side of the planet , so to speak

If he comes to the first game of the season I'd be tempted to point to the executive box and shout "you don't know what you're doing" The day Randy Lerner gets booed at Villa Park will be an exceptionally sad day in the history of Aston Villa football club. However, if he turns up, it will happen, and in someways would be understandable (though I wouldnt partake). Matey i'd never boo at the villa , i'm just airing my views here so it's out of my system when i watch MOD and they all start taking the mic !!! Got to say though i admire all that support to the end , if i was single and lived on my own i would also renew my season ticket but last year for me was the last straw.. It's been a total shambles with Mcallister being there IMO and time to realise that football should be a lifestyle choice thats enoyable not one that has to occur due to the fact i've been going for 24yrs and die hard till i die..

trying to look on the brightside of this mess personally to me . . My relationship will surely benefit, all thaqt extra time and money to spend with the family instead of trapsing over the country week in week out. My wife doesn't like the language at the games so that arguement doesn't need to happen when the kids are old enough to come and finally confirmation that AV has strung me on long enough with the promise of sucessful attractive football, that seemed to deminsh year after year. I felt the exactly the same when hollier took over but agaisn't my better judgement i still renewed my season ticket. This will not be happening this year/.,. I have to be honest and the fact for me is we must be on a spiral downfall. I can only asume that other mangers have turned us down when knowing the truth about where our football club is going.. Buying Bent for me 2 seasons to laate , when we needed a goalscorer a couple of january's ago beggers belief. Martin left, i actually thought he turned his back to make a point but it's got to be lack of ambition from the owners... Predictions fro me ---- NO higher than 15th, this will then be sold as his first season and new medioca players needed to bed in.. I can't see our top playerrs staying.. If i was a player knowing what i do about AM and his style of play i wouldn't put my all in.. I'd be off like a shot,, And finally to all those who claim he has credentials because we has managed scotland and won a cup for the blues.. If he was that good why isn't he still managing his country now and i'm not like many villa fans who hate blues ihave watched many games included the cup run and have to say and AM i'm sure to his close mates would admit , they were the luckiest to have won it in MANY YEARS.. To then get relegated after that just shows me he is that niave he must be living in a dream world. .. Hope i'm very very wrong... hi,, i'm holding on to the thought that this is totally a way to generate press and interest in the product AVFC. Please let it be,. I have a few questions if you could possibly answer.. 1. If we approach AM in this way why hasn't this been done with other managers. 2. If we do end up paying compensation to blues then why not pay CA his money to sit out on a season. 3. Could it be that we haven't got the funds to take the club further, settling on a manager that's happy to work in this environmet 4. Why is it that other PL clubs seem to be able to complete business quickly and effectly. I for one see a lack of understanding in the way we conduct business, no other team in the league or lower leagues would (in my opinioN) work like this. I was left last season in total shock when GH took over, however i supported, but from the Chelsea home game i have been losing faith. I am sorry to say that if AM is named then unfortunantly that would be the end of me spending money going to support a team i have supported for 25 yrs. Fickle ? maybe but living in the real world to know that this chap hasn't proved a thing in this league. LIAM D

He imprison his own daughters for how ever long , they had not even seen sun light and there will be fans in the stadium subject to that , This is not a song about an arsenal player who has broke his leg

Uufortunantly some football fans have no understanding for what going on , i've just read the water throwing incident on another thread and can't quite beleive what i'm reading , how on earth can you critisize fans for doing what they did when some are typing the same kind of offensive language on here.. Is this the kind of people i'm reading and viewing there opinions. Complete and utter shambles,

I know what you mean , having personal thoughts about a situation is ok (if thats your feeling , free world and all that ), but typing these kind of feelings is way out of order, think of all the younger fans viewing theses threads. It doesnt take long for angry people to side with uneducated people.

Are there any rules on this site , i'm half german and find this comment offensive. Although i dont agree with the fans gester i would have hoped villa fans to be more diplomatic in there responces to the assault ?????
