Totally agree, the amount of weeks that are wasted on pointless friendlies is a joke.
The Premier League can’t control that.

that's no joke
my daughter goes to kindergarten to get taught that frogs say quack
its probably why Germans are still in education in their early 30s (that and being lazy words removed...)
Can also confirm that Swedish frogs supposedly say “wack kak kak” and Swedish pigs say “nerf nerf”

It’s worth considering that the nations which get the two extra Champions League places this year will then have a disadvantage when competing for who gets gets the two extra spots next year as their coefficient will be divided by an extra team in Europe.

If you read the pre match thread most of our own fans must have considered it a shock win.

The difference is the owners sold them to another company they own. It utterly stinks.
Did you get this upset when we did the same thing with our stadium?

The contract length was about amortising the fee over a longer period. Given age profile of players, they'd be stupid to accept a lower salary in exchange for contract length. Losing opportunity to negotiate a contract in their prime
Where are you getting the 200k salary figures from?
This website has Jackson and Palmer on around £70k

That's not thinking about the wages. They're all on c £200k p/w
Are you sure about that? I thought they were on lower wages but longer contracts?

That one wasn't either
He had his achilles stepped on, it’s not going to be overruled by VAR.

It’s the way they play. Lots of small tricky attacking players.

Gary Neville praising Emery
Neville was talking up Emery even when he was Arsenal manager. There is a clip of him back at that time basically calling Carragher an idiot for suggesting Emery was not very good as Arsenal manager.

Like it or not, they’ve delivered (the owners). Would not shock me if they give a push for a 3rd promotion next or the following season.
I think they will get to the Championship relatively quickly. The next step to Premier League is pretty huge though.

I personally think United have very good players. Just a clueless manager and coaching staff. Nearly most our team was wrote off at some point in the past. Imagine what Unai could do with Uniteds squad.
I reckon he’d do about the same as he did at Arsenal.
Emery is better when he has a squad of humble players who are patient enough and willing to buy into his methods and meticulous level of detail.
He seems to struggle managing a squad of big egos. All his success in his career has come with sides that finish around 4-8th.

Carragher hates Man U. Do you mean Neville?

Thats actually a standard price at most 5 stars in London. Even the Hyatt Birmingham is £40 for 2 breakfasts and thats only a 4 star.
We paid £32.50 each for breakfast at one hotel recently so £50 isn't that outrageous.
Was an amazing buffet, although wasted on me as I can't eat that much in one go.
Ooo humble brag

The new stop of Ferdi Kadıoğlu, whose name is also mentioned with Manchester City and Arsenal, has been announced. Aston Villa, one of the Premier League teams, darkened his eyes for the national football player.
Sounds like we sent the heavies around for the ‘negotiations’

2 points for a win.

Supposedly 777 are delaying the purchase until the end of May. I am guessing they are waiting to see which league Everton will be in before committing.

It's a weird deal
But I can tell you matter of factly sports direct do not sell all of the top league replica kits and if they do the right to do so then **** them because they don't they pick and choose which top 6 club they want to sell
Presumably they stock their shelves with the items that will make them the most money?

Coefficient aside, it would be pretty cool if we were the only English club left in Europe.
