I kinda feel like Jackson could be a good player with the right coaching. Has a lot of decent attributes, just needs someone to put it together for him.

Exactly. It would be like us deciding Duran should be our only striker then writing him off when it inevitably does not work out. Jackson will be a good player but he should be an understudy to a top striker at this stage of his career.

Wouldn’t a reciprocal visa arrangement for 18-30 year olds benefit both sides?

Obviously the Tories are gonna die in the hole they dug for themselves, but I’d have thought it makes a lot of sense for the EU and the UK (nobody is doing the other a big favour unless I’m missing something).

There is a large block of voters for whom ending freedom of movement was the whole point of Brexit.

Opening up the U.K. to ‘uncontrolled immigration’ again (even only for young people) would absolutely be seen as a betrayal to them and they would scream blue murder about it, with the angry mob cheered on by the conservative press.

The Tories have had to shut down the proposal to stop any further shedding of votes to Reform and Labour have quickly shut it down to prevent it being an issue for the next election. They are very well placed with their current strategy and it would be foolish for them to throw all that away to reopen 2016s talking points.

  3. It sounds like a whole lot of nothing. Iran are denying they have been attacked. Israel not saying anything one way or the other. The US claiming Israel did launch an attack.

Seems like this ambiguity is the cover both sides need to step back.

  4. People on here seem to hate on him but I always think we look better with him at right back instead of Konsa. Konsa really struggles in an attacking sense.

Unlike Chelsea Man City have  always had a core support. I remember Chelsea getting 4k gates at the bridge but even when city went down to the third tier like us they had good support.

When were the 4k games? I had a Quick Look and the lowest I can find was an attendance of 9k in a game against Coventry in the early 90s, though their average was 19k that season.

thats why their exodus on sunday afternoon was so shocking

their fanbase gave up on the whole season sunday afternoon

I think it’s the frustration that you essentially have to be perfect with Man City being what they are.

But will he turn words into action?

I think he’s been given assurances from certain Democrats that they would vote across the aisle to keep him in the job when he faces the inevitable no confidence vote.

I didn’t notice any special time wasting. I’ve never known fans boo it at half time either.

    They are that deluded.

The Madrid players have been laying out injured after every contact and the ref has been indulging it.  Just before half time the Madrid player when down winded and the ref prevented a quick throw to go and check on him then blew for half time when City were attacking.

They were booing the fact they are losing. There wasn’t any other reason go boo

They seemed frustrated with the ref and Madrid’s time wasting. They are cheering their own team though, not booing them.
