Most of the people active in the worst violence are younger people, who in all honesty look like they have been encouraged to cause trouble for no particular reason (i know why there are protests).

Instead of protesting peacefully and showing why the march shouldnt go through those particular areas they have turned the condemnation to their own side. Im just glad that on the whole it was a minority of people.

Also most of the violence was directed towards the police which again is only going to bring negative reactions from the wider public.

I agree with that BOF i think he needs bigging up so he`s got the confidence to keep taking his man on. Your right about the pace aswell, he showed good speed last year. He should be quicker this season too with a proper pre season to get his muscles in the right shape early on. I bet he lost a bit rushing back half way through. I know from rugby that what you do in pre season can affect all aspects of your game especially your pace.

Look lets be honest if we got nearly £30m for him we could get Keane, Ireland and Bentley for that. With those 3 and a rb (maybe Richards) we would be a damn site closer to 4th than if we just kept Milner.

Completely OT but why arent you counting the League Cup, it had been a pretty big deal untill the CL came in.

1) I don't think the shareholders have a say in who the manager plays and doesn't play.

2) We don't know the full goings on with Luke Young and his form. The games he did play this season he got tore apart. Are you present at every training session?

3) He was given a very long break following the death of his brother. As tragic as that incident was, how many other clubs would have given him unlimited time off to recover?
