Motes would be my choice but he wouldnt come if there was no money. Hes got that situation where he is.
-
Would love Pienaar, him, Ireland and Keane would make us very creative.
-
Well weve got to finish it off not. At least they get another days play at the ground.
-
Has anyone seen Remy play?
-
I dont think Jones will ever work hard enough to make it as a top player. Shame as its in there somewhere.
-
Watched the second half, played quite well. Lots of chances without getting many shots on target. A few of the youngsters came on towards the end, not too sure who was who.
Who impressed the most beasley?
BB and Wieman i guess. We slowed the pace in the scond half though, we were already 2-0 up when i got there.
-
If we got those 3 for Milner id be pretty happy tbh.

I dont know, Weimann is there too, along with Clark.

I might be old but I've got a memory like an elephant, so I'lll hold you to that. .
Cheers beasley, you're not wrong unfortunately!
and me! I can still add up even at my great age and MC currently value Ireland at 11 or 12 million, that makes an offer price of 32/33 MILLION for Milner. Man C are daft, but not that daft. From Sporting Life transfer centre:1348: Villa nut 'Cool Hand' Luke Daw reckons he has the inside track at Villa Park. "I've got news on James Milner. A £21m fee has been agreed plus Stephen Ireland. You heard it here first." That flies in the face of what MON was saying this morning, but we'll see.
I`d be very surprised if this was true.
Ill agree with both points, you are old and your maths is spot on
:winkold:
I`ll buy you a pint at a game if your there often for that cheap insult
Let me know a time and place and theres one in
I hope you do.

I'll be well pissed off if we dont get Ireland as a replacment,i dont see why we just dont try get him as part of the deal. Were in the shit if we lose Milner and Ireland goes to Spurs. We might have to now if other people are after him.

Dunny clearing out there. Maybe we should sign a few of their boys, they look sharp.
-
Hope Cuellar is okay - we wouldn't want to be starting the season with doubts over both him and Collins.
I actually think davies/dunne could be a defensive dream team, may be a blessing in disguise
Let me guess, that worked in some manager game.
Good combination of power and pace though.
-
Has Gabby played at all tonight?
-
Not sure on finances, and Friedel may well have another good season but id quite like to sign someone like Hart now and let Big Brad go tbh.
-
Get one more and ill be happier.
-
Playing a bit better at least.
-
We keep giving them the ball back then spend 5 mins trying to get it back.
-
This is our 2nd match in 24 hours in very hot and humid conditions. Most of us would struggle to get to the bar and back balancing a full round in these conditions and Benfica have had a crafty day off don't forget. UTV.
They only played 45mins against a bunch of kids. I agree with Brumerican.
-
We need to keep the ball better, same old problem tbh. Ive only had it on 5 mins and weve conceed twice. We need some players in fast, we cant go into this season with the same squad as last year. Shorey at Lb, Sidders in Cm, its just not good enough.
Confirmed: Houllier is the new Villa manager

David Moyes, although i doubt its possible. Failing that i`d go for Jol.
