  1. I've sent a pm to you about ticket.
  2. What are reading? The thing to do is listen to those who know. To say the board (read Randy) do not have a clue at this juncture, just makes you sound like a mug As Parisvilla has said - Phillip Auclair (French journalist) has reiterated that he doubts Houllier will return.
  3. I signed up with Chandler (from paddypower) specifically because they took their eye off the ball and were very slow in updating the odds on a particular bet. They do seem to drag their heels sometimes. Yes it happens. There was a time when Chandler's were as sharp as a knife. I'd still be sceptical about the news of Moyes, as much as I'd welcome it.
  4. Skybet have Moyes as 6/4 Victor Chandler at 12 -1 that's one heck of a difference  , all the other odds are pretty much the same for each name across all the bookies I pointed this out yesterday. Unless Chandler's have taken their eye off the ball and this would be a rare occurrence, 12/1 could be a massive price. As a general rule bookmakers intelligence networks make MI6 look like the tufty club.
  5. As El-Reacho said earlier, the one to listen to is Phillip Auclair. If he says he doubts Houllier will return then thats good enough for me. You can dismiss what Balague says with a minor application of Cillit Bang.
  6. The more I've thought about it the more Lois van Gaal appeals. I fancy a bit of footballing aristocracy at Aston Villa. My reservations were based on his age (I thought he was older) but at 59 he can have an extended run and install the right ethos at the club. There are a few managers I'd be happy enough with but van Gaal would be my number 1 choice and have voted as such.
  7. Louis van Gaal would be your man then.
  8. yes I may have dismissed him a little quick there, although the disciplinarian in him would ruffle more feathers. If he came here I would be happy enough.
  9. Did you know that Lois van Gaal played for Antwerp when they beat us in the first round of the Uefa Cup 75/76, (4-0 away, 0-1 home) Dont want him, he's another who's had his day.
  10. There are two markets, Skybet and Victor Chandler. Sky bet have Moyes at 6/4 out from 8/11, while Chandler goes 12/1......bit of a difference there. Mark Hughes has come in on both from 7/1 to 9/4 and 2/1 respectively. I wouldnt read too much into that as its a very weak market. Having said that Victor Chandler are very savvy organisation and are rarely caught out on anything. OddsChecker
  11. Ermmm ... its all very delicate ! I think you'll find the lack of information from ITK's is deafening ! I tend check what I've heard with MM as I don't think at this stage its worth putting details on here. What percentage chance do you think Moyes will come?
  12. Ring of Fire was good from the Lower Holte against wigan and yesterday. Songs are started like Tismyk said and long may it be the way.
  13. Moyes will win the poll hands down but is far from certain he'd join us. Moyes would do for me and to a lesser degree so would Hughes. I just wonder if its worth taking the gamble on Flores or Villas Boas.
  14. One of the most idiotic and cretinous comments I've read on here. And thats going a bit.
  15. Lambert was dismissed yesterday by Kendrick as he's close friends of St.Martin. No offence but the local journos know about as much as most of us on here- **** all. Regardless of whether or not Lambert has a good relationship with O'Neill or not, and I'm sure many managers with in the game do, that will not make him or anyone else exempt from the managers job at Aston Villa. Its not my opinion its Kendrick's. I'd have Lambert but not over Quique Sanchez Flores. The list seems to get smaller by the day.
  16. Lambert was dismissed yesterday by Kendrick as he's close friends of St.Martin.
  17. I dont want them I want Quique Sanchez Flores. Go look him up.
  18. You can see the board meeting.... 'Well Quique Sanchez Flores is a fantastic young manager with all the ambition and a track record of a Uefa Cup win with Atletico Madrid however we need premiership experience so we'll plump for Sam Allardyce'
  19. Because they are both shite not because of their nationality. what on earth is this based on? i think they're both very good managers with good track records Am I living in a parallel universe here or what???
  20. So on just your Jingoistic beliefs you'd have fat Sam or Curbishley
  21. You obviously never had to sit and watch it.
  22. Even with Barry and Milner we were regarded as one dimensional, kick and rush football that was tedious to watch. Young English talent was a media driven phrase of the worst kind. You do know St.Martin was a republican?
