  1. Sinclair has done well since he signed, we can allow him one off game.

Not when his off game screws the whole team we cant... and not when every point counts to save our place in the division...

If we had won or drawn yesterday, I could allow it... but we didn't... We lost... and I place the blame firmly at Sinclairs feet for his incredibly selfish and utterly piss poor performance...

  2. Pleased Burnley and Leicester lost. Now need West Ham, Chelsea and Everton to win. Have a feeling QPR will beat Everton tho. A point today would have been good. But no we had to **** it up. Fed up of clubs like Swansea coming to Villa Park and **** us over.

Im fed up of the referees helping them do it...

  3. Christ some of these posts...

Just really wanted a goal today, which I can understand with it being against Swansea. Definitely his worst performance for us, sure he'll bounce back though.

Its nice that there are such supporting and understanding people like you in the world...

It seems, however, that the vast majority of us wanted a Villa win... From Sinclair, Benteke or off the arse of a Swansea player... Considering this great club is allowing him to play football and is probably paying his wages, maybe he should take his head out of his arse and think about the bigger picture instead of how great HE would look if he scored...

  4. Grafter. Ability just not good enough, championship standard player imo.

Whoopee... A grafter... If I need someone to plaster my living room, I call a grafter... If I need my bathroom tiled, I call a grafter...

Weimann is a bag of shit making a mint at a profession he is clearly unqualified to do...

Either that video was recorded on VHS and has warped over time...

Or that saxophone player is hitting some bum notes...

  6. Sincere question here, why does everyone hate Robbie Savage?

Because he has always stirred the hornets nest with his cock by winding up Villa fans, made a career out of pissing off other teams players and fans and then when he gets stick back he pretends like he has done nothing wrong and doesn't deserve it...

Nothing I could wish on the prick could be harsh enough...

  7. I can see the headline now , player returns from long time out injured :

    "Return of the Mac"

Draw a certain team in the FA cup and he scores a hat trick:

    Fleetwood Mac

If Burnley win we're only three points above the relegation zone again, really hope City get the points.

I doubt that will happen. Citeh have put a strong team out
Hope Citeh get the points to keep Burnley down

Hope Milner gets injured because I am not as forgiving as a lot of other people are...

Milner isn't even on the bench...

Who said anything about him playing?? He could be involved in a freak yachting accident...

    I mean REALLY freak....

Not even at sea... Walking around Sainsburys or something then WHAM!!!

  10. Have to do a complete 180 on this lad... He was awful the past couple of seasons but it seems those two years were his baptisms of fire and he has been firing on all cylinders this season...

Sorry for ever doubting you Ciaran... Keep it up lad...

  11. Benteke didn't look too happy coming off on a hat trick and I think Murphy was a bit overawed by him :)

Good on Sherwood for putting him on the bench in the first place, yes, we were in a great position to bring him on but was still a big call.

I bet every kid in the U21s and 18s just got a massive lift and will be buzzing in training

    Great management.

Agreed... The youngun looked a touch terrified about the concept of coming on for Benteke

  12. Anyone else who see the similarties to this dive:

Villa get the short end of the stick on both occasions?

Thats the only similarity that I can see... Young dived... Grealish was fouled...

Villa player in the video tried everything he could to not foul Young...

Lescott did everything he could to get the ball... Missed the ball and obstructed Grealish

  13. The BBC said "Return to the dark ages" ...LMAO are we having a slow news day Beebs? Guys, running around kissing each other, wearing dildo's on hats...More like a return to the Romantic era.

Unhappy Albion Fans? Of course there were, a local Derby on a Saturday night, what did they expect?

I know... Its almost like Villa fans refused to let someone onto a train because of their skin colour then sang about it proudly...

  14. Anyone remember the "foul" that Suarez drew out of Guzan for a penalty?  There were very few dissenting voices from the la la land of media punditry around that one being given because there was contact.  It seems that Villa players are judged on harsher terms.  Bloody Gerrard got a penalty once for having to avoid a challenge against Sheffield United because it caused him to lose his balance.  There was no contact there at all.  Grealish in trying to avoid being badly fouled managed to only get clipped and impeded only slightly.  It is none the less a foul and certainly not a dive.

    Here, here!

Gareth Bale vs Guzan... THAT was a dive

Jay 'Thundercunt' Rodriguez vs us.... THAT was a dive

Ashley Young vs us.... Once again... Dive!

    Grealish didn't dive...

  15. The contact was with his knee, though (and this discussion must go on until he is at least vindicated, and preferably sainted by his holiness Pope Francis.

I hope Grealish does learn from this experience. He's made a living from winning free kicks, but what we really want is for him to keep going when he can.

I still make the point that the contact that happened wouldn't have been made if Lescott had stayed on his feet... and even if he did slide in... The tackle would have been sound if Lescott had won the ball and this whole discussion would never have occurred... but he didn't. The fault is all at the card happy ref and Lescott for a poorly judged and timed tackle... Jack played by the rules of the game, in my opinion.
