    I really think the press are scouring this thread! Talk shite spouting confidently that randy is flying in today. Seems that RDM is getting a 1 year contract with Chelsea thank god (he will be sacked by November) I think today is the day but who else thinks that if OGL gets job that there will be a man u release clause?

    I have seen recently many an employer stipulate that for the job they are recruiting for they don't want someone who has been there and done that but someone who isn't the complete article as they have more drive snd passion that comes as standard for someone trying to prove themselves.

    Thanks to Aston Villa NEws and Views I have been able to catch up. Loads of bids of interviews and it's obvious that OGL wants to come so come on Randy! One video we were told to watch his body language and it made uncomfortable viewing, another had been translated where it is pretty clear that he wants villa job. There was also an impressive vid of the player he wants to bring. All in all it seems as though it's in randys hands

    I am waiting for odds to go up again and putting money on. I saw the original article and not convinced. I know the other 2 options are good ones but that's villas perception and may not be ours. The original article said this ..... "Despite insisting he's staying, he also said he doesn't know if Villa will come back and talk to him again. When asked if he plans to talk to the Molde chairman he said asked the reporter if they required to know when he goes to the toilet. " Shouldnt he have said "I have informed villa that I am no longer interested?"

    If he does become manager I think it will be the beginning of a new era for the club, an old experienced manager would not have cut it for me as it would seem "here we go again!" but this feels exciting and something new, won't expect anything in first year so a bit of realism is needed

    After watching that video and reading some stuff this excites me a lot, I would not expect major things out of him in his first season but he is defo one for bringing the club forward, my only concern is that he seems to be primed to replace Fergie in the future. Will I renew? Yes! On a seperate note, why do sky sports always choose the worsr pictures!
