  1. The Camerons were having sunday lunch last week when David remarked to his wife "somethings missing here",

His missus replied "yes, its the cabbage".

    :crylaugh:

That's the funniest joke on here.

**** hilarious , but now I just feel so wrong!

Its oh so wrong wrong. But after reading the main forum this daft joke has made me laugh.

    Thats a good thing.

  2. We only got ourselves to blame for our own failures, that's the only think i say really..

    I agree.

    And Everton are boring.

But I like AG (she's hot)

Does that make up for it?

    ;)

  3. I find Everton boring. What do you want me to say?

I've always thought and said it. It's got nothing to do with their performance today, so jump off your high horse and take a step back.

And I'll leave the 'slagging off' to you Smalljob.

Yeah let's all slag off Everton today because it was not a good for villa today..

Everton boring???? we can't say that as villa fans, because we are more boring than Everton our self

let's slag off villa tomorrow if they don't win, it's not others teams failure if we are shit

  4. seems like we have 2 sets of supporters tbh, 1 set that just throws in the towel at the earliest opertunity, who suddenly think that we are like man utd and have a right to win evey game.

and us others who know with 10 games to go it is gonna be a hard fight, but whatever happens will still be behind the team.

which 1 of these are you ?

10 games is still along time to go, why give up 4th when we aint even played yet ?

we can win tomorrow and go 4th 3 points ahead with 9 games left. ffs dun give up so easy

You're one of those 'better' fans then I presume?

  5. No need to panic, no. 6th would still be a superb season, in my opinion, which is where I think we'll finish. I just can't see any higher. We have Spurs then 2 very, very tough games where we usually do shit, then a big one vs Everton. I think Everton will win at VP, pushing us into 6th.

6th wouldn't be superb in my opinion. Given that we finished 6th last season and have been battling for 4th for the majority of this season it would feel a bit anti-climatic to finish 6th. It would be acceptable though.

5th would be good. It is progress and marks us clearly as THE team to challenge the top 4.

    4th would be a dream.

  6. 4th. Still a chance of third, too. Albeit a small one.

    I admire your optimism Blandy.

I'm really struggling to be as positive. All the signs suggest at the moment that we're wobbling and our rivals are strengthening.

  7. I wish he could stop you reaching the Champions League. Although his perspectives are not that bright as Zenit fans supposed to see.

I personally do not understand Villa's "attempt" in the UEFA cup - are you planning to get to the CL if so, then why you were trying so hard to get to the 1/16 of the Cup?

To my mind you lost the game back in Birmingham exactly when our stunning top-scorer V.Love scored a magnificent goal.

Wish u to be the fifth in ur League. And make room for other lads that REALLY wanna play in every single game in the European arena, but not to practise tactical sophistications whatsoever.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about and you're posting for a reaction.

I'm not sure why you'd root for Arsenal either. If you met them in the Champion's League they'd batter you.

  8. Top 6 would be a fantastic achievement given the injuries you've had AG. If Villa had suffered the same we'd be midtable.

Arteta looks as if he's being miss though AG. Cahill is a workhorse, but he's not much of a creator for others, don't you think?

  9. I think it's simply a case of MON raising expectations with some fantastic performances this term. Some fans have raised their expectations (as we all have), without considering our rate of progression.

I think most fans view our season in perspective, most of us thought 5th place would be a fantastic achievement at the start of the season and are enjoying the ride- even if we do throw away a few results along the way.

The doom-saying vocal minority have always been the minority, it's just their pessimism appears more irrational now then it did in the mediocre years.

  10. It unlucky in my opinion. However, Saha and Cahill are quite injury prone in general.

To be honest, we've been called lucky on many occasions this season, but we've had our share of injuries too.

  11. I had extra hot once before a night out on the toon. Honestly, I almost shit myself in the que to get into the union.

Don't mind a nandos now and then, but I think it is far too pricey. You can buy the marinade in the supermarket, its just as nice.
