That back four combination has rarely worked.
Konsa and Torres is the best CB partnership we have, Diego and Torres do not work together that well. Even Lenglet seems to give more balance alongside Torres than Diego.Konsa has been quality this season, hopefully this was just a one off. Hopefully Cash comes back soon.
It worked against Man City and Arsenal.at home though. If I look back at all the goals we conceded with Lenglet in the team I bet its far worse. Today was a offday or just an off few minutes.

He is a liability defensively. Lenglet or Konsa are much better
Seriously Lenglet.

The three crosses came from their left back so you should look at Bailey and ask what he did to help prevent them?
Yes Konsa has got a lot of stick but he was far too exposed.
-
I just found it very strange he came on before Diaby.
-
A great goal but he did loose the ball leading to their third goal in a dangerous area of the pitch. He's learning though.

I thought he might have got Diaby on the pitch sooner and not for Bailey.

Great return. Two headed goals as well

Konsa and Pau in the middle from now on. I cannot cope with anything else. Konsa is not a **** RB and Diego is mental.
So who is going to play rb

Just a crazy ten.minutes lost us all three points. We were in total control then they score a flukey first goal and we fell yo pieces thankfully Watkins got the goal to at least get a point. 4th is Tottenhams of they want it. We are another point closer to 5th is one way of looking at it
-
What a total disaster. Total capitulation.

Little scored a good one at old Trafford

haha yeah absolutely wrecked their counter. I can understand them getting a little miffed about it.
Why it was well past the 2 minutes injury time.
Hard to like Brentford. Only one team came to play

If West Ham win the euopa league they will get a champions league spot But 5th place team won't? That's my understanding of the new rules.

We got to have the advantage here in that we rested players against Man City whereas Brentford didn't midweek. I can't see them having the same intensity they showed against a very poor man u team. Having McGinn back too fresh is massive.

United are not catching us, I'd put my house on it. They are as good as 12 points behind with goal difference. I'd even go as far to say they won't take 12 points in their remaining games.
Remarkable that it is the first week in April and we are pretty much nailed on for top 5. Let's finish the season in style and get 4th though.
Looking at their remaining fixtures I'd be amazed if they got anywhere near 12 points
-
11 points gap still. Surely we can't finish below 5th now. Got to admit the competition below 5th is as poor as I've known it.

Just seems very reluctant to shoot to me

I thought he did very well last night. Great finish for the goal. Honestly think of Ollie had have played we would hsve still lost heavily
-
He did nothing wrong. Can't be faulted for the second goal. Wouid hsve been totally unsighted. Nobody can say whether Martinez saves it.

So glad to have City away trip done.
Back to the must win home games again.
McGinn back and hopefully Emi and Ollie too. Makes us a different team. All going well the starting line up will be:
Emi
Konsa Carlos Pau Digne
McGinn Luiz
Bailey Youri Diaby
Watkins
Spot on. That's our strongest lineup from tye available players
-
Its Zaniolo's fault for the goal. Can't Blame anybody else. He played well first half but i wouldn't start him against Brentford. McGinn comes back in and hopefully Watkins too with Diaby who I think is playing well now and Bailey.

Every game is winnable, should have started.
That's what I thought but you have to manage the squad I guess.

Didn't expect anything tonight especially when I saw the lineup so nothing much has changed. Still 2 points above Spurs.

Nothing wrong with what he said. He's 100% right.
