**** you Dad, I'm living my own life!
You need to get some perspective.Nope you've lost me.
I assume you were lost about what was funny about the boat/helicopter picture and my subsequent Father Ted picture. The answer is perspective based, hence my comment to you!

I think it will be close but with the tories having the most seats. I think Milliband will have the same unfortunate 'last minute' affect that Kinnock had in 1991. I can see the tories with a larger vote (by a few percent) but with only a few more seats.Sky Predicting a hung parliament with 286 Labour265 Tory20 libs2 ukip53 SNP24 others ...
still 100 days to go of course , plenty of time for Argentina to invade the Falklands or somethingEDIT: Split from the current government topic because... it's about the election, silly! BicksLabour will be the largest party in a hung parliament after May's General Election, according to a Sky News projection based on the latest poll of polls.
A lot can change from the current predictions over the next 100 days, especially with the media mostly set to favour the right wing parties. Remember this?

Pretty scary how 3 of the top 5 parties in this Greek election are either far-left or far-right.
I agree, although isn't it a common complaint that most of the main UK parties occupy virtually the same centre ground so that in reality there is little to choose between them?

If Valencia came in today and said 'o we made a mistake selling him and want him back', here is 10 million, how many of you out there would take their offer?
I would respond as follows:
"Thank you for your kind offer. We shall consider it and commit to formally accepting or refusing your offer over the duration of the next four seasons."

I suppose it just depends on the nature of the August deal. I got the impression at the time that the deal was pretty much done, but couldn't be pushed through in time for deadline, so they made it a loan, but with a big loan fee which was a first installment in a future fee. All speculation - I just won't be too surprised if we end up making it permanent this January. The loan fee was probably a good chunk, so it's probably not a matter of saving 8 million if we don't buy him this month. We probably would have to pay off the rest if we want to keep him. £4/5 million pounds to have him on our books for another three seasons probably is an ok deal, rather than losing him at the end of the season, having spent £3/4 million pounds for the privilege of having him here for this season with a view to buy.
Plenty of "probably"s there! 3m to £4m for a one season loan fee is doubtful in my opinion. If the total amount is £8m, I'd have thought it was made up of £1m loan plus £7m signing on fee, certainly no worse than £2m plus £6m.
Should we cough up another £6m or so to keep TC permanently? Not from what I've witnessed this half season.
I agree that the terms were far from clear. I'm currently clinging to the hope that the recent media release stating TC is 'considering his options' is enabling TC to save face whilst the club decides not to take up the option to buy. #clutchingatstraws

Nah it's like 5 ceramic cylinders with a metal coil in each.
It would appear that you can replace your fuses with shotgun cartridges!

yet so far.

Birmingham Mail reckon we are going to appeal this. Would be amazed if it was allowed, best we could hope for is a reduction on the ban.
I don't think a ban reduction is an option of the appeal process.

I don't know why I continue being surprised, but some women are a little bit mental.
I've made no secret to this girl that I met recently that I'm interested in her, not that I think that I'd been laying it on too thick, but I guess she thought I had. Anyway, I've been ill the last few days and saw her today when I was feeling rough. She texted me a bit ago saying how I was 'kinda sexy' and 'smouldering'. Completely out of the blue. I just had a thick head and a cough.
Maybe she has a phlegm fetish?
Or fancied the thick head?

If you look carefully you can actually see the moment Townsend's heart breaks.

I'll tell you now and I'll tell you firmly
I don't never want to go to Burnley
What they do there don't concern me
Why would anybody make the journey?

Keeping to the theme of this thread, I have a strong dislike of unintended double negatives.

Pleased we have a UK world champion; wish it was a more likeable one!
Whats the issue with Lewis?
Too sulky, too much bling and too much twitter 'look at me' crap!

Manchester is better than Birmingham tbf.
Having lived in/around Birmingham for 45 years and worked in Manchester for the past 4 years, I can categorically confirm that Manchester is not better than Birmingham.

The word of one person believed above the word of another based on how the different accounts were represented - doesn't sit right with me. I've applied the principle to my two kids when they were 8 and 10, but the worst outcome was an innocent kid spent a boring hour in their room. If the principle applies in UK courts, is this why rape victims are advised to wear frumpy clothing to court as an above the knee skirt indicates 'she was asking for it'?

If there really is no evidence (just the word of one player contradicting the word of another player), Celtic could keep appealing until the judgement is made under civil law instead of by a sports body. With no evidence, would the case stand up in court? Absolutely no chance.

Have we become the League's past masters of getting other teams seasons back on track ?.....we will see on Monday Night, for maybe another edition.
We've been doing it for years for dozens of teams!
Not won for 5 games?
Not won away from home in 10 games?
Not scored for 4 games?
Not kept a clean sheet for 7 games?
Star striker not scored in 6 games?
Aston Villa can help!

Would each way pay down to 3rd or 4th?
I wouldn't take much from the latest testing. I expect Mercedes were running comfortably below full power. No point in showing your cards too early.
