There was the game where we played Leicester in 2015 where both teams were battling down the bottom end of the table, and we went 2-0 up through worldies from Grealish and Carles Gil, and they came back to win 3-2. 

I reckon that was a true sliding door moment for both teams. It gave them the belief that helped them go on to win the title the following year, and us circling the drain and getting relegated in the same season.

There was a key moment in that playoff final against Fulham too where a Fulham player (Cairney?) should have been sent off for stomping on Grealish but didn't, which probably would have swung the match in our favour.

Actually think Spurs could snap him up as he suits the Postecoglou game plan perfectly, assuming Ange ends up there.

I guess if he goes PSG we'll just end up loaning him in January

Absolutely loved the Ashley Young redemption arc.

But we will need bodies you can rely on over 40-50 games this season. If one of your key players goes down with a long term injury, your backups need to play a lot of games,  as AY did after the world cup, and it eventually took its toll.

I don't think we can necessarily afford to carry spare parts players, so as sad as it is, I suspect it's the right choice.

I agree that RW and RB are our main weaknesses. One thing I think needs addressing is keeping possession higher up the pitch when we're under the pump.

Neither Bailey not Buendia is really cut out for this and give the ball away too frequently for mine. We need someone with a combination of pace and strength for that I think. No idea who.

Ramsey was immense and could have had a hat trick of goals and assists if things had stuck a bit better for him. 

McGinn was incredible too. Dispossessed them on the regular and really kept his head throughout.

Ramsey is unplayable today.
