  1. Echoing the thank you's, General, a pat on the back for absolutely everyone that has anything to do with the club for this season, it's been incredible. You're the link it seems between the fans and the team, so from a a helluva a lot of people that wear the Claret and Blue in their hearts as well as on their backs, THANK YOU! Make sure the whole of the team, staff, your good self and Randy know it please Gen!

  2. Aberystwyth apparently has the most public transport per capita in either the UK or the world, I'm unsure quite which, since I was told this fact while drunk, by a mate, who heard it, while drunk, from the head of our department here, who was drunk. But apparently it's true.

  3. I wouldn't vote. Even as a politics student. Labour and Conservative are as bad as one another, Lib Dem is the dithering party that doesn't have a clue what it wants, the rest are a waste of time even as a symbolic vote, BNP I'll be damned if I vote for scum. So, I wouldn't bother. It's as symbolic as the protest vote. And either way, my own belief is which ever wins, the Red team or the Blue team, they'll largely act in the same way.

Horrifying number of votes for the BNP. Seriously, I worry that they will gain in stature. A wolf in very tatty unconvincing sheeps clothing.

  4. NRC, he does it anyway. It's always him that gee's up the team and gives them a bollocking on the pitch, all Barry does is lead us out, has a chat with the ref and flips a coin. I'm fairly sure even Nigels alleged limited capacities can manage that little bit of responsibility ;).

  5. Despise them. But that don't stop me topping up my Jager with a Red Bull.

I'm read somewhere, and I;m also sure it can't be true but still, that a single can of Red Bull leaves your system with an almost identical chemical makeup to what it enters as. Probably just minus the caffeine. If true, should say everything about the crap.

  6. Bahah great stuff General! Glad you enjoyed it. The whole place seemed to be rocking from the coverage I managed to get, must have been immense to be in the Holte. Put a huge grin on my face just reading that.

I think you're rapidly staking a claim as the most likable man in football. I'm quite looking forward to getting down to VP when I'm back home and hopefully meeting you sir!

  7. If there was gonna be a KO in that, it'd have been Calzaghe. Hopkins weren't gonna go down and Calzaghe ain't got the strength to make him.

sodding awful fight still. I agree with Pompey, Joe tried to win it, Hopkins tried not to lose (with Cortex helping him...). Anywho, off to bed before a certain match later...

  8. It's funny the BBC are apparently saying it's a shocking decision, the Yanks all reckon Joe should have took it. I thought Hopkins had took it, despite barely boxing. And with the ref firmly, firmly on his side. Nice of Calzaghe to take it.
