Could he ask about Bamford once again whilst he's at it please?
I forgot about Bamford! In fact, could we borrow anyone from Chelsea? Bound to be useful whoever we'd get.

I would still like RDM to pull some strings at Chelsea and get perhaps Chalobah, Loftus-Cheek or Solanke on loan until January. If it then suited both parties, extend the loan. Surely one of these would be useful to us?

'The Championship: Football League Tonight' on Ch5. Never really paid much attention to this programme until this season obviously, but it is bloody awful. After the joys of winning against Rotherham, I was really looking forward to some highlights of the game and we were on for all of about 3 minutes? In addition, two dire presenters and analysis provided by Curbishley and Megson. Truly dismal.

I can confirm that Drogba is currently hauled up in a small hotel just outside West Bromwich, along with Defoe and Dale Stephens. #itk

Very much hope it's the return of Jordan Bowery!
Edit: I'm 100% not ITK

Hope Moyes is stupid enough to buy Richards and/or Lescott and if he does, I will like him even more. C'mon David you know you want too!

Balotelli?
Not a bad shout mate and could be? Not sure I'd want him though.

Full back: Trippier, Iorfa, De Laet or Gunter?
No. 9: Bony, Remy, Austin, Rhodes, Wells? Wouldn't say any are "world class" though.
I'd be happy giving Morrison a go too. Presume Bond knows him from QPR days?

If Adama doesn't want to play, we need someone who can excite, get bums off seats. We simply lack spark, but i think RDM knows this too. Whether it's Morrison or not, we need that type and another striker. Has to be the priority over the next week or so.

Very much agree with Mark's post above. Don't think we can really criticise him at this stage. We now look organised, hard to beat and his signings to date appear to be good. Yes we need a spark up top, but he knows this as well as us. He's refusing to have players around the squad who don't want to be here and quite frankly I couldn't agree more. Didn't see too much fight from that Derby/Pearson team today. Patience is key here and an important ten days of the transfer window left for sure. Personally, I very much like what I'm hearing and seeing from RDM.

We didn't lose the game and this time last year we would have. Take the positives, clean sheet away from home, starting to look solid and hard to beat. Just lack that spark don't we in the final third.

Feel sorry for the guy, as the injury has simply ruined him. A little embarrassing to watch today.

A young player who presumably is now billy big bollox and doesn't want to play for this great club? Totally agree with RDM leaving him out and hope we now find a buyer. Also agree with a previous poster that Burke at Forest would be a quality replacement.

I have a really good feeling about today and if Jedinak plays, I think it will be 2-1 to Villa.

So far he's signed that bloke I don't think even Chelsea fans had ever heard of for £10m, 3 kids from Utd and a pensioner from Everton...
Hopefully he will take Richards and/or Lescott off us too!

I can state, Ings will not be leaving Liverpool in this transfer window - 100%.
Not saying he will move one bit, but how can you be 100% sure? Been some crazy moves and fees paid this summer.

Agree with the posts above, RDM's no nonsense style is refreshing and was needed. You know what too if I was RDM I would offer him to Leicester in exchange for Albrighton. I'd be happy if that came off for sure as at least Albrighton would fight for us.

This isn't ITK stuff one bit, but my uncle, who is a Liverpool season ticket holder thinks Ings will be allowed to leave at the right price or loan before the window shuts. He has no idea if any club is interested or has enquired about him though. I honestly think he'd be a good addition for us.

Welcome! A real asset and another leader.
-
Still has the makings of being the best player in the league, just needs a goal to help with his confidence. Perhaps the idiots around him last year has rubbed off on him a bit? Think he'll come good though and will be a great asset to have this season.
-
I honesting like what i'm seeing and hearing at present. RDM needs time folks. We have just come off the back of our worst season in years, which included shite defending, a lack of creativity/goals and players not up to the job. However, the signs are encouraging and one or two more incomings will make an even bigger difference (ie Jedinak). Confidence is key and we are slowly building it. Ten games in and then we can see if things are really turning for the better. I think they will.

at this level, Saturday is the type of game we really need a player like him
Can't agree more mate. Think if he'd been out there tonight we would have held on too.
-
Looking at the bench tonight, we need a couple more attack minded players, along with Jedinak. Would take Morrison now.
