Is there a Finn Azaz menu too?
I went to the game against palace and Finn came on in the 75th minute and lost possession a few times and didn't seem flavor of the month.
He was a bit slow and ponderous to be honest. Palace swarmed him quickly and he didn't respond well.
Kkh was man of the match (officially) and it was night and day compared to his teammates.
He drifted inside a few times to collect the ball in what you'd call a pirlo position, and sprayed some beautiful balls to launch attacks. A bit like Trent is how I'd describe him. Passing range is great.
His 1v1 defending wasn't as strong as his attacking, and is probably what's limiting him (as well as being very lightweight) in his Prem opportunities.

That was fun.
Palace couldn't get near Plymouth for 60 mins, brought on Jordan Ayew, Jeff Schlupp and Eze and scored 3 goals in 5 mins to get the score to 3-2.
Plymouth's second was a worldie.
Kane Kesler was man of the match by miles. Went from right back and kept dropping into that deep midfielder role and just spraying passes around. Put a palace player on his arse when dribbling and looked really good. He was officially MOTM too, so not just my villa bias.
Finn Azaz came on after about 75 mins and didn't do very well, lost possession about 3 times.
Mateta scored 3, but was absolutely awful in everything apart from his 3 finishes. If you can stop the ball getting to him, his absolutely woeful.
Number 5/7 for Plymouth cost them the game really, couldn't get back and make up for mistakes they made.
Lovely ground, the football Plymouth played was really good for a newly promoted championship team. They'll be fine this year.
What is a JANNER and why do they say it so loudly?!

The obvious things from his past are tough to see past at times too but when he's in a good place mentally he is a very good ambassador for our club and the working-class-roots of the game as a whole and I think this message he's sent to a fan with a terminal illness is very touching, rang home beautifully and just a great read.
I hope he can stay in a good place, because whilst he can be an emotional so-and-so and very frustrating on twitter, a massive prick at times too. He can also be one of the 'personalities' who best understand what a club means to its fans and community - and it's always good to see that coming from a fellow Villan.
Also, if you read this and are touched by it. Please also send a message to the fan who is suffering, I'm sure he'd love to hear from Villans all over the world.
Oddly, this tweet made me feel compelled to send the guy a message.
I've never done that before, and very rarely use Twitter.
Like you, I thought it was lovely thing for Stan to do, he even takes the Mick out of his own scoring record at villa when suggesting he can call the guy to reminisce about past days.
A very genuine, lovely thing to do.

I wondered what it would look like if the penny were to double (and subsequent numbers). Day 27 is when you'd realise you're an idiot not taking the 1p.

Still too unorthodox for me

It's the same as Malinga. Straight arm but side-arm action. I'm all for it, more weird actions the better!
Malinga had a double jointed shoulder joint!
What's this guy's excuse?
He's delivering flat balls from 5ft high, how's a batter meant to do anything with them?

Zaman khan has a joke action.
Absolutely chucking it.
How's that allowed?

Looking good and playing well.
I just wish he was a tiny bit more accepting of a bit of rough. He likes to make a meal out of fouls.

Mad that Ollie gets a hat-trick and the MOTM was our left back.
It's because of the left back he got 3 goals (and should have had 5) lol

What are Sheff Utd's current strikers? Any good? Will he get play time there?
I think this is a great move and the academy coaches should be very proud they are giving our kids professional careers.
We have Duran as our young striker (who offers more physically than Cam), and Traore can play striker if he doesn't leave, plus Zaniolo can play up top - we're kind of set.
If he does get game time at Sheff Utd, he'll have a full prem season under his belt at 22. I see them as a more old-fashioned kind of play style too, so he'll get chances presumably.
The buy back is good insurance if he absolutely storms it and in the mean time, we get a good fee for someone a few years ago we'd have kept around, gathering dust before letting them go on a free.
WELL DONE VILLA (and congrats to Cam!)

That’s awesome Lapal, keeping everything crossed for him
Thanks
At the moment he's trying to digest if he wants to even go as he's a big Bears fan.

"This is a bit different kidda"

Philippe Coutinho
in Villa Talk
Posted
I'm just sad man
I'm a 36 year old man from Halesowen.
I remember the 94 team as my earliest Villa team.
In that time, we've never had anyone with the prestigious name that Coutinho has brought.
We've had good players over the years, players that have come and done a much better job on a like-for-like basis, but we've never had anyone approaching Balon d'Or territory, Champs League winning territory or being an important player for Brazil, with actual samba flair.
He was 30 when he came. He should have been in his pomp. And his first 5/6 games had me feeling like we'd somehow recovered this magical little guy.
I'm sad for him, that he must be feeling as though his best days are behind him. I'm sad we didn't get to see the best of him. I'm sad because we're losing that little Brazilian number 10 who I'd never thought would come to Villa.
I've been absolutely desperate for him to come good. I've been ignoring his poor games, like Stevenage in the cup where I was championing him to my father in law who'd never been to a football match before. He ballooned about 8 shots from 30 yards in that game. I persuaded my 8 year old to have his name on his shirt last year, because of my silly manchild awe of him.
I'm really sad he'll leave without giving us one 30 yard screamer.
Good luck Phil, I guess
