Is that not a really good return for Brentford? They just got promoted to the PL and they don't have a big budget. Just over a point per game is PL safety. I would suspect everyone at Brentford and all Brentford fans are very happy with that
Well yeah but they are only one bad run from being sucked into a relegation battle.
Table doesn't tell the whole story at the moment. We have no idea how it will look once teams starts playing their games in hand.

Certainly good achievements.
Promotion, survival and 11th.
Calling it miracles is way ott though. Makes a mockery out of the word.
What Leicester did was a miracle.

Brentford barely averaging above a point per game

Think Brentford will end up doing a sheffield united and be relegated next season
-
This makes me feel bad about only drawing with them.
United are so bad. It's unbelievable

Gerrard will be looking at Fernando Torres soon

He's almost 35.
No thanks

This dude will not play a single game for the club

It's amazing to me that we managed to look so good second half without Mcginn

I much prefer Buendias style of play to Grealish slowing the game down trying to win free kicks.

I don't know what their fans expected.
They appointed a relegation specialist and results are poor? No shit.

Burnley - Newcastle last game of the season.
Could be interesting

Looking like it's gonna be a 4 horse race now.

Donny Van De Beek apparently turned down a loan offer from Newcastle

It's mad that Everton's board allowed Benitez to sell Digne, and then a week later they sack Benitez.

To me we only look good under Gerard when we are playing at 100mph. For example after the 2nd utd goal yesterday.
Sure Martinez dropped a clanger yesterday - but Gerard was correct was correct when he said the bigger issue was the whole team starting slowly - thus inviting pressure.
I'm not really seeing a style of play or even team shape tbh. Poor as Everton are - it's difficult to see a villa clean sheet there.
We only look good when we have something to chase.
How about playing with that intensity from minute one?

Bailey isn't an old fashioned winger that just stays out wide, those kind of wingers barely exist these days, most play more like inside forwards, which is how Bailey plays and as such is perfectly suitable for Gerrard's system. Ryan Kent isn't a no.10, he's a winger and played every game when fit for Rangers when Gerrard was their manager, Bailey is a similar type of player, so no reason why he won't be used often for us in the front three.
So far Gerrard as used, Watkins, Jacob Ramsey, Young, El Ghazi, Trezegue, Chukwuemeka, and Ings as wide forwards/No.10s, pretty confident that if Bailey had have been available he would have been in the team ahead of all of them, not because he's better per se but because he's better suited to that particular role.
Bailey needs space to take advantage of his explosiveness.
A lot of teams in the Bundesliga plays with high lines so he is more suited to play in that league.
I think it's a similar situation to Sancho. I'm not sure they will succeed in this league.
