Yeah, only 2 players in, but both young hungry players and it looks solid enough. Don't wanna be buying in loads of players and hinder the youth we have coming through.

    Bit of trivia; "Kevin Davies is one of eight English players to have (in a single transfer) cost over £7 million and never represented their country at senior level. This list includes Nigel Reo-Coker, Anton Ferdinand, Curtis Davies, Carl Cort, Dean Richards, Adam Johnson and Chris Smalling." I like Kevin Davies though. He works hard. I say we issue a swap deal + £3million for him with Heskey going the other way.

    After watching the Fulham game last night, i have to say i was impressed with Dickson Etuhu. He looked full of energy, he always seemed to be there to intercept a pass and he made a few good passes out wide. Reckon a 3m-4m bid could be a good shout.

    Kris Boyd on a free? I wouldn't say no. He's 26 so got a good few years left in him, and he's scored something like 160 goals in 300 career games. That's like 1 goal every 1.8 games. Yes it was in the SPL, but it's still an awesome ratio.

    People are obsessed with finishing 4th. Yes it is extra money (only if you can stay in the competition) and you can attract higher calibre players, but personally i'd like to see us cement ourselves as a top 5/6 (which we have done the last 3 seasons) club AND in Europe. I don't want us to get ahead of ourselves. To be honest if we had got the Champions League spot this season we wouldn't have got very far. Sounds pessimistic i know.

    It's who is linked to move this summer, don't shoot the poster! lol. If all 6 of those went we'd obviously need a right back with that money, and a cover left back. I'd like someone to come in and replace Sidwell. Baker can step up and take the 4th cover CB spot. A young DM would be nice too. So that's 4 players needed. Any extra on a striker. Behrami and Parker (RB / MC), Huddlestone (DM), IAN HARTE! (Cover LB)

    I'm sick of hearing this. He was with us in 2004-2005. Over 4 seasons ago!!! He has matured since then, he's had Premier League experience.

    I'm just polishing up the remaining achievements on Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age Origins in anticipation for this. I don't want any distractions Only got to finish ME2 on Insanity and kill 1000 Darkspawn on DA:O. Easy peasy

    The thing is, people say that if you start to believe something is there then you will 'make' it be there. Stupid argument really. They say it's all in your head, that thing you saw out the corner of your eye was something you conjured up etc... etc... The one thing that winds me up is the people that outright refuse to believe in the Supernatural and call you an idiot for believing in it. It was Dudley Castle ghost walk btw. Last October i think.
