General,, I know Im amongst a minority today, but I thought it was a good performance last night. I think the signing of warnock is a very good one. I cant get to that many games living in scotland , but if I could I would of been there, some fans take so much for granted, they seem to forget the o leary days, the doom and gloom of years past and they forget the massive strides forward we have taken since the change at the top, I think our early exit will be a blessing in disguise and we will actually break that top 4 now,, league cup and Fa cup double ??

General, before the tidal wave of bad opinion gets to you with regards to tonights result, Id thought id post my support for yourself randy and martin. The experience those youngsters have gained tonight will be invaluable when they are needed towards the end of the season. Unfortunately this does now put pressure on us to finish fourth, with a couple of very hard away trips to play yet. I only hope this result doesnt bite martin in the arse !! UP THE VILLA !!

Hiya General,,, Not been around for a while,, just thought i'd chuck in my usual thanks for what you have done line,, some people seem to be forgetting the nightmare that was o'leary and ellis, what a difference in just a few years, it really is amazing. I wouldnt be surprised if a few clubs are using Villa as a blueprint on how to improve properly and not overnight !! We have progressed well in the uefa cup, but the squad simply isnt good enough yet to fight hard an a number of fronts, this is plain for all to see. So MON and Randy have had to choose which one to concentrate on, and if we all take off our silver tinted glasses the most sensible option is to go for that 4th/3rd place surely. It makes a lot of sense financially. Someone mentioned Middlesbrough earlier,, this should be shouted from the rooftops, they reached the final, and where are they now ?? I am sure MON started out the season wanting to win the uefa cup but our league performance has surprised him and he has simply changed his priorities. Splice The Main Brace !!

BTW General,,, having just got back from my little deployment to Kings Bay,, my heart goes out to the people who are bracing themselves for a very bad storm season,, we were caught in Fay and it wasnt nice at all. I wish them good luck.

Hiya General. Just a wee note on the general availablilty of the new strip in my area. I live in stirling in scotland, arguably the 4th biggest city in scotland, here you can buy all the big 4 strips plus all the scottish tops and yep i even found a newcastle top ,,, but,, even in the Nike outlet store not a sign of a villa top anywhere. Just goes to show you can make massive strides in very little time but it is still a big job to do.

Hiya General K, As you know I am a massive supporter of yourself , Martin and Randy and all the new regime at the club. That support is unconditional, totally. I was wondering (?) how does it make you feel when you are asked the same questions over and over and over again ? When people moan about spurs spending like water then actually finishing below us,, does it make you kinda snigger like it did me !! I have no doubt whatsoever that you all have the clubs best interest at heart and I for one am proud to be a fan of a club that does its business without feeling the need to indulge the paparazzi.

General , Ive just told "Forces Discounts" about the ticket discount that you give us, so that they can include it on their list. I still cant believe that Villa are the only football club in the country who offer the armed forces a ticket discount. Coupled with the new shirt sponsor it really does show that Villa and everyone connected with Villa actually give a shit about people and not just about making cash !! All the other Premier League clubs both in England and Scotland should hang their heads in shame.

I think I was part of the fledgling request for Armed Forces discounts on tickets, which, to your credit you agreed with and brought in for this season. Unfortunately circumstances have prevented me from taking advantage of the discount scheme this season, I was wondering if you were planning on retaining the scheme for next season and how many of my colleagues have enjoyed the discount this season ie has it been a success ??
