Nigel Reo Cocker's agent was interviewed on SSN not so long ago and he had been in a meeting with the board, executives and manager. He commented that NRC will give his all for wham for the remaining 14 games and then see where they stand in the summer. He was asked if it was posible people might come in for him now and he said it was possible but he doesnt know wham's stance on that. We should try and sign this guy, he is a great player and would be a brilliant adition to ouur central midfield! Go get him MON!

We should definately be in for Diop, he would be a great signing.

Cheers, this being the last weekend of premiership football before the window closes and last years transfer activity have filled me with renewed hope, im still concerned though! We need players ASAP and it strikes me as a little weird that as of yet we havent sorted out any permanent deals. Roll on next week!

This transfer window has become so tedious, right now i am quite pissed off, partially because all trains heading home from town for me were cancelled for unforseeable time due to a blockage on the line forcing me to fork out EXTRA for the bus and also because we cant sign anyone for shit! I had been patient up until now expecting things to happen, but it seems that nothing will happen this week and there is no news or rumours anymore, every link has dried up and everything MON is saying now suggests that we are a million miles away from any potential deal. January truely has become a depressing month for Aston Villa Football Club, nothing last year and nothing yet this year with an even smaller squad. We desperately need players before the window slams shut, otherwise we will be in a very dangrous position.

Ashley Young would be a clown to swap watford for wham, both are stuck in a relegation dogfight so i can see plenty of players turning down the spammers, that 50mil might not go a long way! 10mil for Young is a crazy price, maybe they would sell at 8mil to us when he rejects wham!!

..... its between wham and spurs for young aparantly, hope not we should be in on that deal i think! Yeah would like to sign Young, just 8mill is a bit over priced in my eyes. Id say closer to 6mill. Players getting over priced again, typical of the Jan window Maybe so, i personally dont think 8million is over priced for young and so thats why i hope we are in on the deal. If they were asking say 9-10mil+ then i wouldnt be in favour but for a player in the 5-7mil price range to not try and deal at 1mil extra for a young very talented player would be foolishs imo.
