    Manu have now rang SSN saying they are not interested in Xavi. Also reported was that Upson didnt train with blues today so he could be off to wham.

    Saviola? Mascerano? Mascherano Undecided on him, undoubtedly a class player but he hasnt played at wham yet really so maybe a bit to early to call him a flop. Seems if he is given special dispensation by FIFA to move to his third club this season it will be Liverpool anyway, Rafa has been saying how he hopes to get it done i believe.

    D'allessandro was ace for portsmouth! He scored a few goals and was generally very creative for them.

    To be honest i kind of expect something out of no where, similar to milner before fat freddy decided to be a word removed. What i mean by that is that we will hear, player x is either at Villa for a medical or having one today, out of the blue like.

    I know its a suspicious rumour off the Sky Sports Rumours page, but for some reason I feel this could have a bit of credibility. Or maybe its blind hope that Aimar is going to be lining up against the codes on Wednesday! Whatever the case, I don't think Aimar is happy at Valencia. If we sign Aimar im sure Saviola would sign for us then seen as they were all awesome, as well as Angel as part of the "Quadro Magnifico" or whatever it was called at River, might as well get Ortega also! Not gonna happen!

    If it keeps progresing steadily like it is currently then im sure the magic 500 will be reached! Needs another Defoe hotel rumour to do it me thinks, either that or for the market to pick up, it has been quite quiet today and i thought there would be at least more rumours doing the rounds.

Danny Murphy Not sure if he'd break our first XI, but as a short term solution to boost strength in depth? Great signing. Yeah thats what i meant, as a squad player he would be good, he was great at liverpool and charlton.
