Not keen on a permanent deal as think Clark is/will be better than him. but as a loan it would be good cover for Vlaar. Can't see Citeh doing a loan though unless we stump up all his wages. No point for them sending him of on loan and then letting him go on a free in the summer. p.s. he's playing (sitting on the bench) for one of the best teams in the world on £100K week and cost £22mil because Mark Hughes is a complete goon.

I actually think he would be another astute signing. He's completely different to the other strikers we've got and if we want to play two up top, which Lambert clearly likes to on occasion Le Fondre would be the perfect foil for Benteke, Holt of Kozak. With Azpilicueta and Cole both played ahead of Bertrand so far this yea, one of whom is a right back by trade, along with all this talk of Shaw you'd hope that if things work out we will have first dibs on Bertrand. Nice to see he knows some of the other lads well too, I guess he's played with them loads for the U21's. Might make it easier for him to settle quickly.

I think he can probably do that job but he isn't going to score or assist as much from DM and he doesn't suit the new manager Fonseca so isn't getting the game time.

Houlston is right, he played further forward at Standard Liege and does for Belgium sometimes, but he has moved back abit for his club since. I think he could play the deep lying playmaker as a box to box midfielder or as an attacking midfielder. He's abit like Sneijder in his Ajax days, before he got all cocky and refused to do anything other than play as a no.10, a good passer with abit of energy and creatviity but isn't afraid to get stuck in. The only gamble is whether he can adapt and step up to the prem.

Why do people kep on suggesting luke young? He isn't as good as Aaron Hughes. Hes just another shit decision from Sven, like Paul Konchesky and Chris Powell. Also Kieran Richardson (another of Sven great decisions!) is utter wank! I'd like to give Bouma a chance at left back, no need for another LB yet. We do need a right back though Hughes does a job but is mainly a great squad player not a first choice. I'd luv to see Dani Alves, though probably out of our league realistically. Anatoliy Tymoschuk (God know show you spell his name) is ideal to compete with Mcann as midfield enforcer. He had a great world cup and wouldn't cost too much 5-6mil? Appiah is another option. Scott Parker would be amazing, but Newcastle won't let him go. Milner is obvious, just hope Newcastle don't screw us over again. This Mcgeady kid looks pretty gud and I'm sure MON will know him well. Can play right or left as well I think, Though he maybe too lightweight for prem at mo. Saviola and Klose would be amazing, Saviola can play out wide as well in 4-3-3 formation. Though Newcastle wanted Klose at start of season and nothing happened so I reckon he'd cost abit. We probably wont see another 'target man' coming in till end of season now anyway, with Sutton signing. I think we should have a look at Klaas Jan Huntelaar instead of Klose though, he has filled van Nistelrooys boots up front for Holland and is scoring for fun for Ajax. As for Adu, would be great though unlikely. Probably won't be this lot but I think MON will spen 10-20 mil on 3 or 4 new faces in jan and I'm sure he'll get the best of them whoeva they are.
