I am not a constant El Ghazi critic like some others here, but you can clearly see the gulf in quality between him and the likes of Bailey and Traore. He should not be starting matches.

Putting the shoe on the other foot, I would not want my local team to be a satellite club for a Premier League side. For those outside of the UK, would you support a club in your locality that is part of CFG, RedBull, etc.?

The first step is for us to become best of the rest. Everton for example earn £7M more on their kit deal and £4M more from Cazoo than us. 

The advantage of keeping a player with the U23s is that they can focus on development and at their own pace. On loan, it's all about results.

I know it might seem very petty, but the star representing the European Cup really annoys me.  I feel it is small time and it devalues our other great achievements - League titles, FA Cups, League Cups, Youth Cups. Notice that most other clubs do not put stars on their logo for their titles.  The ones that do like Forest and Ipswich do so as a reminder of their past glories.

Furthermore, it also does not make sense for the women's team to use that logo as the EC was an achievement of the men's side.

What I'm trying to establish is that PSG and ManCity operate differently than other clubs. If we're looking for commercial role models the likes of Bayern and Dortmund or even Arsenal and Spurs are much better.

Me too, but I think the squad realizes to keep everyone and sign the next level of players we need to be in Europe. Likes of Martinez and Konsa may leave without Europe.

I might be wrong, but I think he said something stupid like 42 million in 3 days. He says the players they have signed, along with commercial partners and other things, has put their value up- to 3 billion.

I say all that to say, we REALLY need to be looking at TOP, top players from Eastern Markets etc to make a step up, as several of our VT'ers have been suggesting. Shirt sales alone ffs.

Most of PSG's sponsors are Qatari and are basically ordered to sponsor the club at inflated sums. Similar to Man City and Abu Dhabi.

Going by Smith's "18 months away" comment and Mings' and Martinez's interviews, the players and coaches expect Europe. That's all that matters.

Wonder why Everton is only going for  52K capacity for their new stadium. 60K seems to be the "sweet spot" these days. Was it to do with planning permission?
