Agreed, Carew has put himself about a bit whilst Heskey hasn't contributed much... I'd give young Weiman a go alongside JC. At least, we've drawn level - hopefully we can sort ourselves out and grab another early in the second. (Can't see it but you never know!)

We're not firing on any cylinders at the moment, that's for sure - but with no Young, Milner and Gabby it's not that much of a surprise. Has Heskey held on to the ball for more than a second yet?? Sidwell is looking ropey too - too many silly fouls and not enough action.
