So they’ve basically purchased a minority stake in V Sports for ??? £££ yet NSWE retain 100% of Aston Villa men’s & ladies teams … Brilliant deal with zero downsides then.
My understanding is that they’ve bough a stake in V Sports, V Sports owns Villa.
NWSE own a stake in V sports also.

Would assume this third party is jumping on board the ownership team to fund the expansion of Villa park. The money would be in the right ball park for that I imagine.

Neville not a believer in us
They say they see us, but they don’t. Long may it continue.

I’ve always liked Kamara, but the last few games he’s played he has absolutely bossed the midfield. Hes added some carrying ability to his game I would say.

Why on earth didn’t someone pick him up before we did. Class act.

Ok. I’m in. I think we’re in this now. We can easy fall out of it, but for now we are in.

We are stuffed with an injury to Emi or Watkins. Hard to get anyone decent to play second fiddle to Ollie, especially in Jan, but we at the very least need to upgrade Olsen. ASAP.
I used to agree, but the last couple of performances he seems to have turned a corner.

Knock down the DE stand, and rebuild the Unai Emery stand.

Well, I don’t think we will be relegated now. So…

Realistically, I think we need to keep tabs on how far clear of 6th we are. After this weekend, it now looks likely we will need a result of some sort against City or Arsenal to maintain that over Christmas.
Regardless of that, what a great season we’ve had so far. Don’t forget that.

A lot on his shoulders tonight. Can see him doing well.

Tim is not eligible to play in Europe until at least the knockout stages. Neither is Kellyman (though he's injured until the new year so we wouldn't see him anyway).
Ah I didn’t know that, I just assumed he qualified as a young player. In that case it’s likely we won’t see him until the FA cup.

Wonder if he’ll get game time with Kamara out suspended.
Teams over the weekend have had success playing youngsters, would be good to see another one of ours breakthrough
I’d suspect we will move McGinn backwards, or Pau forwards before Tim gets in, but I would be disappointed if he doesn’t play the final Europa game if it’s a dead rubber by then.

Would Bailey be content signing a new deal? Or would he want more starts?
To be fair, he’s sounded pretty happy in interviews of late. And he’s actually playing well when he does play. Last season id have said he’d go and we wouldn’t put much fight up, but not so sure now.

A complete shithouse, but he’s got a good heart.

I know it's been posted before but this video of Unai giving some boneheaded Arsenal fans making fun of him the finger is hilarious. Top guy.
If I was an Arsenal fan I would have been so embarrassed by that harassment of a genuinely nice man, regardless of his footballing credentials.
Hope he is with us for a very long time.

More likely that he is stepping up the next stage in his rehab. In normal circumstances with that injury he would have a slight chance of playing in the final games of the season.
Hope the big man is going well.

I wouldn't worry about the badge at this point, they'll probably change it a couple of times before the next season kicks off anyway.
There are all types of directions you can face a lion or places you can stick a star.
Perhaps we will need another, albeit dimmer and smaller, star by then!

Pro - it’s got us to fifth in the table with our best home form in 40 years.

Would not be surprised if he’s loaned out in January, maybe to a Spanish or MLS side. As others have mentioned, I read it as him struggling mentally today.

They can, but they shouldn’t.

The high line has us in our highest league position in a decade and back in Europe. Why on earth would you want to drop it?
This. It works for us.
Also I think people need to remember our fastest defender, Moreno, is still to come in, so it will be more effective soon.

Barnstaple in North Devon. Still have a decent presence in this area.

It would very spursy for them to lose like that and then bounce back with a win against a world class team like Villa.

And still they will dismiss us in the morning. Loving this season.
