Haven't been keeping an eye on the latest updates. I take it this is a common glitch? If so, that's a big big problem 😯

I've googled it and couldn't find anything. I had to reset the game 3 or 4 times before it returned.

  2. My ps+ extra subscription runs out in a month. If I downgrade to essential do I lose the games I've previously added to my library? Also has anyone seen any better prices than the one quoted on the store?

    And finished.

Overall its a very good game but it's hampered by some pretty big flaws (enemy density being my main bugbear as its absolutely ridiculous in some areas) but the combat, variety of builds and world design itself are all good.

I may return to go for the Platinum at some point but I'll need a bit of a break first after ploughing 80hrs+ into the first playthrough.

Right, now to get stuck into Baldurs Gate 3.

Nice one mate. Now you're finished I'll not be able to get you involved in my games to help out 😭.

Wouldn't say I'm enjoying it as much as other games in the genre.  I'm only in the swamps at the moment and the area seen has a bit "boring" so far.  I'm sure it'll change as I progress through, I really should sink more hours in.

This is why I like the crosstrainer/elliptical machine. You can do a full body warm down and help the arms too.

Thanks.  I'll try that next time me I'm doing the upper workout on Friday.

  5. Thanks bud. You raise a good point there about what goes into our bodies before and after exercise.  I don't think my diet is particularly bad although I rarely eat breakfast which I have meant to start doing for a while.  I eat a fair amount of chicken and pasta.  Drink at least a litre of water Monday to Friday but for some reason not weekends!

My fitness class tonight is pretty much straight after work so eating before is a problem but I'll maybe start taking more fruit to work to save for an hour or two before I leave.

The leg warm down seems to be ok but had no instruction on upper body warm downs, hence the achy arms!

Next planned gym session is legs on Wednesday.  Friday is upper but maybe I'll reduce the weights on the machines I'm using for a few weeks.

How old are you? Recovery becomes way more important the older you are.

48 mate. Trying my best to be more active having sat at desk for the last 30 years lol

  7. Having done a couple of fitness classes a week for about 6 months, I've just signed up for a twice a week gym session.  One day upper body with cardio, then the second session is legs and cardio.  Looking to burn a bit of fat and build a bit of muscle because I'm only a slight build.

My job involves sitting at a desk for 40 hours a week, and this combined with the fitness classes is my attempt at building my physical and mental health, starting at the grand old age of 48.  Anyone else a late starter? What are your experiences of this journey.

Orian Preacher, considered the strongest starting class.

Nearly went for the Dark Crusader as they look awesome but I wanted a class with decent spell and melee balance.

If I complete it once, and it's a big if 🤣 I'll maybe try a magic build of some description.  I don't usually go down that route on Soulslike games but might be fun to try out.

    That was good fun!

Amazing that I killed her first time on my own playthrough. Pity the game made me same level as you as im currently level 174 😄

Let me know if you need any more help for other bosses.

I did wonder why you didn't smash her in 3 seconds lol.  Yeah I enjoyed it, think next time we'll need to start a party to make it easy to cooperate better. That's a good build you've got there too

  10. Ok I'm struggling to get passed Peita or whatever her name is. Timing on the blocking is off because it takes an age to get into the block stance.  Looking more and more like a restart and if I carry on struggling then it might even be a quick trade.

  11. Had about an hour on it last night.  Ended up inadvertently wandering into a boss fight which I got slaughtered in because I made the rookie mistake of not leveling up when I had a few opportunities. Think I ended up losing over 8000 "souls".  Not sure whether to start over and level up when given the opportunity, carry on and see how I go.  Get the feeling I'll regret not spending!!

Mesh systems work really well. We've had our house rewired so had it networked at the same time, but before that we used a few Deco tp-links, and they were more than adequate. We've got an old house with really thick stone walls, and they worked fine. All the Decos are just in a drawer now, so if you'd like to try a couple, PM me your details and I'll post them off to you.

I can confirm the Decos are a great piece of kit.  And the app that comes with it is really easy to use for a novice but has lots of options for those with a little more knowledge.

Yeah seem to be averaging out at around 7/10 which is still respectable I suppose.

I played around an hour last night and first impressions are it's...fine.

They throw a lot of info at you from the off and the Umbral system didn't click straight away for me. The combat seems solid enough though and the world looks very good.

I'll have a better idea after I've caned a few hours over the weekend.

Sounds promising and it's not like we have an idea of the concept and genre of the game.  Think I'll carry on with Lies of P and wait to hear your thoughts.
