Underwhelming window on the whole, and given the form on the pitch it all feels a bit demoralising.
I'm sure these youth players might come good one day but they won't do anything for us this season.
That's why we love VT - downplaying signings who have yet to kick a ball for us!

I'm on him now in NG+ (working on the Plat)
His second phase is **** mental. Most of the bosses have had the expected ramp up in difficulty but they seem to have given this bastard PED's this time around
I do need to get back to this. Been playing a lot of rouge like games, and dipping into MW3 for a change of genre but will definitely return to this for my first completion of the title.

He’s been ok and shown lots of potential but I think some fans are getting a bit carried away. I still reckon a loan next year where he can play a lot of football would do him wonders. Maybe a lower end Premier League team.
No way I'd want him going to Man Utd

Not sure where to post this so please move if required.
Someone drove into the back of me last weekend. It's all going through there insurance, it's only minor damage and a courtesy car has been supplied by them. Question is, do I need to tell my insurance, and am I covered by my insurance to drive a courtesy car?

The Bebe goal looks like the keeper is in on a bet of some kind.......

I see what you mean, that's bordering on extortion.
What no more "Kids for a quid"?
Mind you I'm sure that phrase means something completely different to them lot now!

They do love a flashy name and Steven ''never won the Premier League' Gerrard is as flashy as they come.
Rewarded for failure again. The guy is a total fraud.

I thought the last thing they did over there was reward failure?

I’m really enjoying the MW3 multiplayer, it’s probably very similar to MW2 was.
Thr campaign just doesn’t interest me at all. It’s just so fussy in that 1 stray foot and you’ve got an army of 100 soldiers shooting at you.
I wasn’t in a massive rush to have the game tbh but I was struggling for a gift for my wife to buy me.
I also had MW3 as a gift. Really only play zombies, although I dabbled on a Shipment playlist over Christmas which was fun
Not sure how I feel about MWZ. Some games are great, but other times you're dropped in a location miles away from a contract you want to do and by the time you get there someone else has already taken it so you're waiting round for it to respawn again. Must say the community is pretty good though. You can help each other out if you need reviving, drop spare loot etc for others. One guy who must have cheated dropped over 400k worth of credit plus weapons for no apparent reason. Nice to play solo but probably better in a squad.

He won it back in April, and our May didn't go too badly!

Usually turns into a kiss of death after you win this, but The Don has broken every other hoodoo for us so far.

Can someone give Garnacho an antihistamine - he looks like he's constantly suffering from and allergic reaction!

Just started first few hours of A Plague Tale: Requim which is on Playstation Plus (Essential)
Great game so far. A linear story set in 1300's France during the black plague. Graphics are also stunning.
Follows on A Plague Tale: Innocence so worth watching a 5 min recap of that on Youtube if you haven't played that one already.
Funnily enough I saw this on Essentials yesterday and liked the look of it aesthetically but wondered whether it would be worth playing.

Not seeing enough consistently to warrant making this permanent at the moment. I know there's still time but hope we are looking at other options too.

Out of interest what do you guys do when you struggle for motivation to get to the gym / classes? I've only been to the gym once since New Year and today will be my first class since Christmas Eve. It feels like a chore at the moment, and the last thing I want to do is let it slip to a point where I don't bother going at all.

My old man is in Tamworth and was planning on going over to see him today / this weekend. Hopefully it's a little dryer by then!

Haven't been to the gym as often as I want during the last few weeks of December. Back on it tomorrow though, and after the next week or so those who start with good intentions will ultimately give up leaving the usual faces at the gym. Main motivation is to put a bit of mass on the muscles, and just look better than I have done for years.
I don't drink as much as I used to buy I definitely need to eat better. My problem is during the week at lunchtime. It's always sandwiches, boring bland sandwiches usually white bread. Take more fruit and veg is the plan. Also need to find an alternative to drinking coffees all the time at work. I do try and get at least a litre of water during the day too but even that's a struggle!
Good luck everyone, hope you all reap the benefits of the work you put in.

Sunk a few more hours into this and got through a few more bosses. I'm actually really enjoying it. The Umbral lamp is becoming a bit more intuitive now, as I've gotten a much better grasp on when to use it (still don't like hanging around in Umbral for too long though). Been using the Hallowed Praise sword (upgraded a few times) and it seems to really suit my play style.
Glad to hear you enjoying it. There's nothing really to worry about in umbral tbh apart from the black reapers early on and the red ones but they only show up when the border around the umbral eye goes all the way round.

Anyone enjoy MW3 campaign? I’m playing it but finding it really annoyingly shit.
The problem seems to be there is an extremely specific way of doing each mission, you have to kill people in a specific sequence or tip toe a very specific route otherwise you get 50 enemy soldiers alerted and then attacking you to your inevitable death.
I’m about a third of the way through the campaign and thinking about jacking it in. I feel bad as the wife bought it for me for £40.
I've not started the campaign yet. Same as you, the wife brought out for me for Christmas. Feel bad but not really enjoying it as much as previous games. Only played zombies tbf, might give some of the multiplayer modes a go but it's not really a keeper at the moment.
