I went and had a look on the wolves forum and if that doesnt provide some laugh at some of the posts then nothing will:

https://www.molineuxmix.co.uk/forum/index.php?threads/aston-villa-rip.285230/page-12, have to start on some of the earlier pages as it gets more entertaining as you go on through.

I mainly wanted to see what they thought of Johan Lange but sadly there was not much apart from this post from a fan, it maybe the only decent post in there, one of a few at least lol:

His football knowledge is quite good. I doubt his abilities when it comes to scouting and networking though. I know Copenhagen prides themselves in having successfully bought and sold on lots of players with profits in recent years, which is through. However there has also been a bit of hit and miss in some windows
Also it's difficult to see how good he actually is at building a solid structure as Solbakken has been the main man at Copenhagen for years.
So it's a huge unknown for me. He knows his football, but does he have the network or the organisational skills for a club the size of Villa? Also, there's a massive difference between the pool of players Copenhagen looks at and those a team looking to establish themselves in the PL would look at.
I also see some Villa fans think he's very good at finding young players. That's simply not true. He uses to be a youth coach and a good one by the way, but Copenhagen mainly sought to buy players for their first team, leaving development to other teams

Comical that both Wolves and Blues have forum pages about Villa with 100's of comments on...........Obsessed

I'm as rough as a plumbers estimate today man, eughh.  I'm still working from home and decided to sleep through my lunch hour which absolutely did not help.

    Still.

    Premier League, baby!

Not sure how I got through today, was so hungover !!

Worth it though, really looking forward to us pushing on now

  3. God im dreading this......please Villa, dont let me down today

At least if you lose a cup final nothing changes, as much as I think i may enjoy winning a few games in the championship financially this is massive for Villa to remain in the premier league and to be able to build....

I cant even call it results wise

  4. Seriously, Admin delete this now its horrifically arrogant and leaves us so open to egg on our faces, lets worry about Sunday first and getting through a very tough game as well as hopefully results elsewhere going our way.

I sensed this coming out on social media after the game on Tuesday, we are a 1-0 defeat and a 1-0 Bournemouth win or Watford draw from relegation - Its that close

West Ham looked more than useful against man ure on tue.

    Getting a bit worried now

Im just hoping that on the basis they got the point they are now up and that Moyes may look at players with knocks and not risk them - Im getting more nervous again as it gets closer!

We have the momentum but I agree. Andy Carol could haunt us is my feeling.

brought on and a lumped long ball which he behemoths onto someone, or controls and back into the net himself

Andy Carroll? Why would he hurt us?

  7. This is going to be the most nerve raking 90 minutes of my life I think, will think of predictions etc later this week but for now its focus on tonight. Cant help but think West Ham getting a point at old Trafford would just give them absolute safety and hopefully take a bit out of the legs, a couple of reds for Antonio, Bowen and Rice wouldn't go a miss either

It was but since Deeney did that interview where he said they're soft and playing Arsenal is easy as long as you put it up them, Arsenal have beaten them every time. Since then they're always up for it against Watford. It's almost as if questioning people's integrity pisses them off and they'll do what they can to prove you wrong.

Arteta wont want to go into the final on 2 defeats so I think he will have them up for it

How do Watford dust themselves off and try to go from here? No manager, their third of the season recently sacked, just got smacked at home 4-0 and playing an Arsenal side that want to relegate them, fight for their place in the cup final XI and bounce back from a limp defeat, I'm that order. I can't think of a taller task.

I think Watford might be gone, its Bournemouth that are the bigger threat in my opinion

  10. I feel so nervous for tonight 🤢

Will build up firstly to 5pm when I see how much Pep has rotated which will then take me through 90 minutes of hell from 6pm to around 7.55 (Hopefully with a little bit of Arteta rotating his entire squad with u12's)  followed by another dose 8.15 to 9.55 of hell.

Im not sure why but I just have a feeling tonight, you know when you just get that feeling?  Jacks potential last game for us at Home, Davis having not scored for what seems like decades, Connor back in the side with a point to prove, Mings standing up to be counted and Deano the Villa fan with the great escape

Me neither........... Villa 0 Arsenal 2

I doubt that. This is their 4th game in 9 days. The risk of injury is greater in our game than Watford's game.

Thats my line of thinking, managers look at the stats alot and they will have players approaching that ''red'' zone so will they rest a few Tuesday and then use Watford to prepare

  12. One thing you have to say is that if Watford lose to Man city by 2 or 3 what a motivation for Villa to know if they can beat Arsenal there is a chance they could be out of the relegation zone on Tuesday night on goals scored - That's huge going into the last weekend especially

Can see City having nothing to play for and drop points.

Can't see that happening to arse chasing European football.

Pep looked and sounded furious after Saturday and said "Now we have two weeks so we want to play the final [of the Champions League]. We want to be in rhythm. It is the last opportunity we have to go through [to win another trophy]."

He also tore into his players for not being motivated..... I cant see them not turning up Tuesday (Fingers Crossed)

Pep Guardiola has already stated he may bring him back. I wrote yesterday you can translate that as they never set up this glorified loan to see him develop in The Championship.  They will buy him back and then do another sale with option to buy to another PL team, Palace or someone like that.

I just hope the buy back clause gives us a decent price to help our reinvestment elsewhere.
