  1. Need a supply of rattles and dummies for some here and on twitter, proper embarrassing grown men throwing around insults like spoilt kids

Just chill out and see how this plays through before you start moaning about the 2 blokes that literally saved us from going out of business (They are worth over 10bn quid so im pretty sure they know what they are doing in life) and Grealish who as of now is still our player and captain!

There is a big difference between transfer info and made up clickbait shit and saddo wannabe ITK's desperate for attention on Twitter.

Frankly if Sammy Lee said it was raining outside, and I went outside and checked, and it was raining, I still wouldn't believe him - his stock is that low.

But I maintain what I say, plenty would be lapping it up if it was positive towards Villa, fans are desperate for transfer news - Its the sky jim white yellow tie brigade that have taken it to a new level of hype

The only Villa man to listen to is Percy

One year into a 5 year deal

2 weeks before the season starts

Not many additions in prior to knowing he’d be sold

    None of it make sense

My only worry was if there was a release clause and we had no power. If thats not the case then I cant see us selling, even if he wants the move. He’s the owners favourite who they are building the club and the side around. He’s just blown up commercially too. Just cant see it.

This is my take, the owners have a project and they will want their main main ala Giannis for the Bucks.....they are minted and the club is in a good financial position and Grealish in my opinion wont force a move and has a long term contract

BUT this 100m number keeps getting chucked about and so I wonder if that is the clause thats in the contract and thats why this wont go away

Yep, its a microcosm of what happens on any contencious issue on social media. Adults (those that are) turn into children and somehow WW3 is on the horizon.

Totally embarrassing isn't it, i maintain what i said yesterday if Sammy Lee called Ashley Preece and he was sending the same articles re Ward Prowse they would all be lapping it up but as they dont want to hear it they turn into Children

Fans beg for transfer info and when its shared they all call BS

    Bizarre

Not sure if you've seen the relentless battering the Villa journos get from the fans on here (me included as I think they are dogshit) for making similar "commentaries"...

This narrative from Sam Lee is so ridiculous only the retards over at Blue Moon would have time for it.

Im more talking of twitter to be honest, people believe a random account with 30 followers calling themselves avfctransfermole or the like if its telling them something they want to hear

It's not there, or certainly not at the same level by a very long shot in cricket, in rugby, in tennis and many other spectator sports. When an eejit in either of those sports does something stupid they get ejected pretty quickly.

Football is attended and supported by far too many, utter utter utter scum.

Its strange isnt it how football attracts it? Its a mainly seen as an ''England'' problem but if you go back to 2018 when France won the world cup there was 300 arrests and riots across the country and the behaviour ive seen at Wembley for the last games with Villa has been appalling, grown men fighting in front of their kids, throwing bottles, smashing coaches and urinating in peoples gardens - People drink much more at Cricket and yet ive never seen any trouble !

  7. The fact that this still continues to happen and actually is probably getting worse shows why players started to do the knee gesture to raise awareness and yet we still get the booing and the whole I don't agree with BLM organisation argument even though that has been squashed on several occasions by players including Mings who have said that the gesture is to raise awareness and not about the group.

It will get to a point where players will be forced to take even more action  which could even be as far as striking if this continues although im not sure what the answer is, yes social medai companies need to play their part but the bigger issues are the people that post it and share those views

  8. Finally got through, 2 hours of trying then 30 mins when i got through that and agree Madrid, im happy to wait in a que just let me through and tell me what place i am and i will leave it on in background as i work

disappointed with the owners/purslow if it's only 100m

it was inevitable, but that's too cheap IMO

Disagree, its 100m !! Its a british transfer record for a player who has known injury problems and as much as we love him its only been the last 18 months that he has performed in the premier league

If you take your claret and blue specs off for as much as it hurts and i would rather we didnt sell him they have got a good deal

  10. I would play him on the right over Traore, he has good feet and can give a real back post threat.

Overall though im very pleased for him, gets on with it quietly and has waited for a chance which looking at recent sub performances he is taking - Shame Cash was sent off v City as that was his only real opportunity of a full half

Yep like that list. Don't think there's anyone there massively unrealistic. Lookman already been at Everton and it hasn't worked out, Bailey I've mentioned before and had a very good season, 12 goals so far from out wide in Bundesliga and Europa league so should be calibre we're targeting by now, Ings as that clinical finisher upfront and then up and comers like Olise and Armstrong from championship which we like doing.

Not sure on Bissouma or Sarr but then a few top 6 clubs have looked at Sarr and not taken him and his fee will probably drop if Watford don't go up.

Sign Ings, Bailey/Lookman, Olise and we would be set for top 8 season next year imo if we keep everyone we want to.

I just think its going to be that type of summer where its quality over quantity, the PL and the money involved continues to be strong so I think maybe a good opportunity to be a little braver - Im sure Ings is out of contract next year too so could be a bit of a Darren Bent style signing where we take a big player from one of our rivals

  12. Big summer for Villa and for Dean Smith, if we can maintain top 10 this year then that is massive progress but its the next step that in my opinion is the big one, can you break into that top 8 and start to challenge for a cup competition all in the same season. In terms of targets (Some ambitious I know but not ridiculous) I would be looking at players like.......

    Sarr - Watford

    Bissouma- Brighton

    Lookman - Leipzig

    Ings - Southampton

    Bailey - Leverkuson

    Olise - Reading

    Armstrong - Blackburn

    Senesi - Feyenoord

    Malen - Feyenoord

They didn't pop up in the 2 minute training video Villa posted the other day so folk are assuming the worst.

Comical isnt it....players throughout the week will be in and out of sessions and after the huge focus on the Grealish news from the other week im sure the club aren't going to release info that easily through facebook videos

Newcastle have their whole front 3 out.... i would take that in exchange for Jack being out!
