He’s an amazing striker of the ball too as in hits flush like Duran when he gets a hold of it and could definitely see him playing as a makeshift/hybrid striker.
This is a great quality... We definitely need more players who can let Rip and cause chaos through ricochet and deflections around the box etc.
Sometimes I feel we are almost like the Arsenal of old where we are trying to walk it into the goal .
Sometimes you just have to let Rip, the more of them we have the better
Duran, Tielemans, McGinn occasionally etc.

This is my issue! I think a left winger / left midfielder makes more sense to me.
Multiple people have corrected me in saying he is a right footed left winger ( And good with both feet )
Would make more sense then.
I thought he was strictly a right winger as well.
He may just be another malleable and versatile player as well.

I bumped into Pau a few weeks ago at a retail park. Having met a few Villa players before most of them (completely understandably) will quickly shake your hand, or nod / wave and walk off as quick as they can (It's a common affect I have on people).
Pau was the most polite, calm and unique individual. He was genuinely interested in us, how we are Villa fans and do we go to matches. Another family quickly recognised him, again he stayed and had time for them. You can definitely see why he was captain at VIllarael at such a young age with his persona on and off the pitch.
He does come across as this sort of bloke.

Any high quality DMs available for free or on low ISH fees due to contracts?
If we could say get Hermoso ( free ), A comparable DM ( Free ) we could probably then spend on someone like a Nico Williams and a Right Back ( Frimpong esque )?
Unless we already have first team plans for Nedelskeljovic or whatever his name is.

No he's right footed and plays on left
So would actually be something we need then.

At least a point again Liverpool will really go some distance... I'm exhausted .
I'm hoping Unai and the lads can find a way to just put absolutely everything into that game, especially being at home, and sealing it.
I also desperately want Ollie to get his 20th goal before season ends.
Win and us and then can relax finally.

I know the source isn't great and I'll probably get roundly assaulted, but Olise would be nice
I'd think we'd all take Olise... But it's probably unrealistic ATM. He'll cost a huge amount of money which I don't think we are able to or should be spending on one player right now.
Those are the types you need to try and get before they get to the PL... Like with Rogers. Must be why we were so adamant to get him when we did, or on EOF the reasons anyway.

So who are you selling to pay for these? Our fringe players won’t be enough so which key player would you sell?
Doesn't Williams play in the same position as Diaby/Bailey as well?

Ramsob Jacey is highly rated... Hope he can make an impression in pre season.
@romavillan would have been easier to decode if I said Racob Jamsey... Missed a trick lol

I don't understand what Kamara is if he isn't a DMC.
Would probably be more apt to say he's a modern DM or or a CM who excels in hoovering up and the deep role imo.
I think people are just saying he isn't a destroyer and probably a bit more cultured.
To be honest, sometimes I do think we need a bit of a physically imposing destroyer in their for certain games and situations.
Not going to pretend like I haven't seen games where Kamara has been bullied out of it.

I sometimes don't get this... And genuinely feel they ( All of them ) will use any excuse to pop off for a mini holiday .
Are you tellinge there are no specialists in the UK which could do similar " specialist " treatment?
Unless you are out for quite a while, I don't see the reasoning for taking a 10 - 12 hour flight to see a " specialist " for a few days.
Don't the journeys in themselves take a toll?

Guess who the last team to beat city was, back in December 2023….
It’s almost fitting for Spurs to go and beat them.
Was going to say, it's a running joke even with Pep that spurs have a relatively good record against them at home.
-
He wasn't great today, but he's been in and out of the team due to injury.
Don't think he's fully up to speed yet.
Talking of speed, today he had a head start on the Brighton player and was made to look like he was going in slow motion. lol

ALL Managers have their pros, cons and reasoning for decisions they take lads.
We have to take the good with the perceived " bad " .
Especially since the good exponentially outweighs the bad when it comes to Unai.
In truth, he has extracted so much out of this team this season it is like they are on their last legs.
I just really hope we can find a BIG second wind to push ourselves over the line.

Hardliners who would loathe to admit he's had an outstanding game and nowhere near as bad as they want him to be...

Think we might have a few angry people on here and hour before kick off on Thursday, can really see us going weak on Thursday
If they can't see that the first teamers are absolutely exhausted and think of the greater good then i don't know what to say.

He's been captain in our best ever Premier league season.
Yes he's had a dip in form, but so have lots of others.
It's mental.

Just typical.
We don't do ANYTHING the easy way.
