Put a Reo-Coker type player(Preferably better) in place of Petrov, and it makes a bit more sense.

Has anyone thought that it could be Ashley Young that we're actually replacing? Hence the reported interest in Bentley/ I wouldnt be surprised if their have been private talks from a club trying to get him. Don't wanna lose any of the but I would be happier to lose Ash than Milner.

Would rather him go to United, because we're not competing with them and it would be spit in the face for City, and a brilliant move for Jimmy, I want him to stay, but fear he could become a United legend.

I'd only sell Heskey, Carew can still play a very big part, even as an impact sub, a battering ram who's also got great skill and an eye for goal on his day. (Reason I would keep him is because i'm not sonfident MON could get TWO good strikers in one window)

Don't wanna be biased, but he's a very skillfull and witty player on his day. A bit hit and miss though, but can certainly make a fool out of a defender and finish.

Yeah well he isn't Argentian and bought for a ridulous amount of money so he can't be good. I would rather have NRC in my team too. Or maybe he passes, tackles, shoots, runs, retains and all the rest of the attributes necessary to be a footballer better than Reo-Coker? Just a thought. :?

I agree with this, and don't think it would have been ridiculous to try for Henry for a year even? he's old, but his class and ability to turn a game are priceless, MON would never do such a thing though. there are a few top player on the way out who would be worth a punt, on frees, but obviously on big wages.

I really don't want us to sell him at all! If we had to though it should be nothing less than 30 mill plus Ireland, Richards, and one of their many strikers(Maybe Petrov for the wing). Use the 30 mill to buy amidfield destroyer in the ilk of Mascherano and another attacking midfielder or striker. Net spend. 000000000!!!
