  1. Much improved from Ireland. He needs to graft like this now each & every game or he will be shown up by the likes of Holmann who is an absolute athlete of a grafter. On another day you'd like to think he'd have buried that chance. Just needed a bit more composure but that should come with games and confidence. Would like to think he's set himself a target of around 10 assists & 8 PL goals this year.

The thing is he has been grafting like in yesterday's game for about half a season now. This misconception that he's lazy needs to be put to rest.

    This.

    And also this.

Was very pleased with him yesterday, the boy has bags of talent.

  2. Yossi Benayoun‏@YossiBenayoun15

Morning,I can confirm that I'm in talks with two premier league clubs about a loan move, hope to sort it by tomorrow evening..

As good a players as he might be/has been there are very few players i wan't less at Aston Villa then him.

any reason why? I'd be content to ee him come in on loan to supplement the youth with some experience.

I have quite a few friends from Palestine, some are alive, some are not...

Not Benayouns fault of course, im sure he's a lovelly guy but i wan't nothing to do with his country.

I would (probably)not boycott if we signed him, but i would not cheer if he scored.

If this violated some rules on the forum im sorry and please remove the post asap

    Absolute ridiculous post.

To be fair I live in the middle East, and my feelings on THAT country are the same, i'm not muslim or anything like that though. Not sure i'd go as far as not cheering if he scored though.

  3. Sky Sports understands Aston Villa have agreed a fee for Middlesbrough's Joe Bennett, but Charlton have rejected their offer for Dale Stephens.

Sky Sports exclusively revealed on Tuesday that Villa had launched a bid for Bennett.

The player had been in two minds about the move, but he is understood to have travelled down to the Midlands to discuss terms with the Premier League club.

Boro are believed to have agreed a deal with Villa and have now left it to the 22-year-old left-back to decide whether he wants to finalise the deal.

Sky Sports has also learnt that Villa have seen a £1.5million bid for Charlton midfield ace Dale Stephens rejected.

A host of clubs including Newcastle, Everton and Sunderland are also believed to be keeping close tabs on the 22-year-old - who has impressed at The Valley since moving from Oldham last year.

I think Bennett will turn us down

He's already signed for us mate.
