There are a lot of Darren Bent fans on this site and understandably as he has proven to be a great premiership goalscorer. However there was a time he was only scoring goals in the Championship and no team took a chance on him apart from Charlton. My point is how can fans be so quick to dismiss players from the championship when they can easily be the next Darren Bent.

The only thing i can say to this is if you were going to bullshit on the rumour's page the last player you would choose is Emanuelson! Maybe there is some truth to it after all.

I liked Koumas the first time i saw him 3 years ago when West Brom were promoted. Seemed like the stand out player and i remember buying him for my dream team. After that he had a lot of injuries and then fell out with Bryan Robson hence never really played consistently. This season he has looked his best again and shown he is a really talented player.

IMO would be a very good signing.

I think the majority of Villa fans including myself would be delighted if we signed NRC but although I like to keep positive im not seeing any sort of indication from the player that he wants to come to villa. It seems like his heart is set on Newcastle or a champions League team. I hope I'm wrong.

We appear to be favorites to sign NRC and i will be more than happy if this is our first signing of the summer. Great player IMO and will mean we have 4 future England Internationals.

12 million for Bellamy and Kewell. There was a time we would have been over the moon with that deal. I'm not saying we should sell ourselves short but have we really gone that far when this is not considered a good deal? for me it would be a good bit of business on the condition's Kewell's injury nightmare is finally offer. But that is something I'm sure the club was assess before he is signed.

Why are people suddenly happy with Liverpool's cast-offs?

We eventually hope to compete with clubs like Liverpool for CL spots, so why should we try and do that with players that have failed to do exactly that for them?

Because they are still improvements on what we already have and we trust MON's judgment. These players haven't even been brought yet and might not even be brought, so you don't have to be disappointed just yet

Micah Richards is an awesome defender and at only 18 can grow to be one the best defenders in the world. The only way we can sign him is if we can show him that we defiantly going places and there has never been a more excited team to join Aston Villa. At his age he does not need Champions League football what he needs is to be playing as many games as possible and with the big 4 that may not be the case. He should join us if he knows what good for him.
