That will be the same Michael Bradley who performed so well at Chievo last season, that he got a transfer to Roma this. Alredy making a good impression and without doubt better than some of the central midfield options we have at the club now.

With the lack of neither, I'll go for Houllier. Despite the unbeaten start, signs are already forming that we will become even duller than ever this season. Ultimately the clowns on the board are responsible for the malaise at Villa Park...proud history - dull future.

Mortimer...slagging the fans off a few weeks ago and now the captain.....while his concerns may have some grounds bit of a pointless statement without coming up with alternatives. Who else can play alongside Makoun, who is the obvious choice for one of the two spots in a 4-4-2 or 4-3-2-1 We quite clearly are not going to splash anymore cash on players so until Delph, Gardner etc can prove they can cut it at this level on a consistent basis then Petrov will be featuring in most of the games.

That 2nd half performance was shameful. Not just the score but the total lack of effort and care. Asley Young looked the only player interested in trying. Very worrying signs.

Really disapointing performance after the first twenty minutes or so. Carew deserves paludits for his goals, but really only Ashley Young can be pleased with his performance today. O'Neill's substitutions are baffling and it would be great to know why he makes such bizarre choices. Heskey is just appalling for a Premier League and International striker, why bother putting Nathan on the bench if you are not going to give him a go even when we are behind??? So frustrating.

Can't belive he's left Petrov, thus could really cost us, we cannot afford to go down to 10.
