Agreed that the key players are kompany, witsel and courtois. De Bruyne played a key role in the qualifiers, but his form dropped recently. Again, benteke was not a key player for belgium. Starting every game doesn't mean you're the star. Compare it to Westwood for us, he features in every game with decent performances but he is not our star (different role I know) When fit benteke is the first choice striker for belgium, but without him the likes of hazard, Mertens, de Bruyne and Mirallas still pose enough threat to any team. He's playing atm for Zulte waregem but it is mentioned that he probaply wil be loaned out to a premier league club next season. or a bundesliga club.

did Ronaldo compete in 2002 qualifiers. not sure he did as for Januzaj I don't think he will go to world cup as has not really been in united team recently. seems to have faded out I expect him to go. Michy Batshuayi is probbaply going to be selected as 2nd striker after lukaku becomes #1 the only way januzaj is comming as wilmots decide to consider mirallas 2nd striker so he has room for januzaj but i doubt januzaj wil be going to the WQ.

Its not his fault the belgian FA kept selecting him. his father made clear that he didn't wanted to choose yet and when he did he would contact the Bondscoach.

I absolutely adore the beast Belgian guy & losing his outstanding services in a claret & blue shirt till God knows how long is a real kick in the balls. Like you I was really looking forward to watching him at the World Cup Finals too & would even allowed him 6 goals against England as long as we won 7-6.
