You would think we are going to make him our record signing or at least the main one in summer. He is a 2 mil ( apparently ) buy to help build up the squad whilst we working within PSR /FFP

QuotePep Guardiola: “It's obvious. We have one option; win the game”. “If we don’t beat Tottenham, we are not gonna win the Premier League”.
City not going to be taking it easy tomorrow then

With Spurs only beating Burnley by 1 goal, it probably means that they have to beat Man City to overtake us. A draw may not be enough IF we lose both of our games by the odd goal. Of course, getting a draw against Liverpool means Spurs have to get a win v City. I think they could surprise City with a draw but i’d not be confident in backing a victory over them. City have been poor away to Spurs recently but none of these games were this close to the end of the season with the title on the line AND none of those games were managed by a gung-ho manager… Angeball will totally suit Pepball
When they played in the cup earlier in season it was only one nil but City dominated. Watching Spurs today Maddison and Kulesevski looked off it , the latter caught on ball numerous times. Without Ricarchlison they lack a focal point and improved when Son was moved wide left late 2nd half. The left side of defence is an issue City will exploit.

Skipp hauled off after 70 minutes. I think v Man. City they'll just go to a back 3 or even gamble and play Van De Ven there with his pace as very few players beat him when he gets into his stride.
Might even just bring back Emerson Royal.
No way they move Van DeVen ,he moved late today as needed to score and Burnley had nothing going forward.
He bails them out constantly with pace with balls over the top and through middle

Essentially it's going to come down to who gets the points at home to city.We did ..can they ..I don't think so.
They looked suspect at times on break against a woeful Burnley.Skipp looked dodgy at LB Foden/Doku against him is cannon fodder.

This keeper is so shit.
Where the hell did they find this clown.
Man city former youth player ,his kicking is woeful he is constantly putting them in trouble.I can't believe Trafford is worse than him.

Palace continuing good form it seems ,really tricky if we need go there to win.

Burnley know they can score against this lot though, still very open.
They better off going more direct and stop passing around at back

Burnely should be behind ,again over playing .They play like City but with out the quality of player to do it.
-
Not over yet Burnely are not looking great at back and overplaying it at times.

That is rubbish about Villa having no injuries but Newcastle have definitely had terrible injuries.
Even now they are playing a back 5 of their backup goalkeeper, Krafth, Burn, Hall and Livramento. If we were putting out a defence like that everyone would be using it as an excuse if we were conceding tons of goals because it is a **** defence. And yet they are playing really well and thrashing teams like Spurs so are not letting injuries derail their end to the season.
They are faring better in midfield and up front but still playing players like Murphy and Longstaff because Almiron and Tonali are missing.
Yeah im sure they didn't bet on Tonali being out most of season

Brazil coach Dorival Jr said: “"Richarlison has a calf injury. It has not yet been made official by the club, but we contacted the player and he informed us."
Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski are both, therefore, likely to start, with Heung-min Son through the middle.
Emerson Royal was at fault for two of Liverpool's goals in the 4-2 defeat at Anfield last time out and Postecoglou has revealed Oliver Skipp could deputise at left-back after training there in the last couple of weeks.

The Athletic are saying that his season's over: is there something suggesting otherwise?
Edit: Seen that Ange didn't say he was unavailable in his press conference earlier on today: given the timeframes of the announcements you might be right. Or Ange's lying.
He is not named in the Brazil Copa squad , im sure the rule is you can't be ruled out for an international game with injury but play for your club

They spend 1.2 nil on Stadium and have over 800 mil of debt tied to it .They also had Wembley to use short term whilst there rebuilt it.
They also would of taken that debt on in a world of much lower loan rates.
