  1. Ermmm... McClunge is Scottish, he would not take a penny less than he is entitled too.. Some dark days ahead, because I believe that he is here for the long term, no matter how bad it gets...
  2. I take it you mean Sunderland?
  3. Absolutely crucial games... People talk about 6 pointers well for Wigan, Blackburn and Villa this will be the case. We seem to be struggling against the lower placed sides and the ones we EXPECT to beat (QPR, Swansea, WBA, etc) I am apprehensive about the drop, but as already mentioned, thank God there are about 5 teams that are a lot worse than us, however, it is down to who has the fight in them. Villa, at the moment, have NO fight.
  4. Villa Park is deadly quiet... I wonder if GK and RL are watching this shit anywhere?
  5. Yes we will be, but it should be directed at McClunge, not at the players...
  6. McLeish seems to set his teams up with a focus on being worried about losing, rather than trying to win..
  7. Please sack this manager!! This is another horror viewing, piss poor football...
  8. We tried though. We offered him the option of transfer funds once he had sorted out his massive wage bill. But he had a strop and gave up. We weren't going to be an unlimited supply of money for him, there has to be a line in the sand somewhere. But I do think if we stood firm on the Milner sale and said no MON might have stayed. You are right and I know that MON threw a strop, but despite all this, the club should have tried harder to keep MON, if that meant us saying no to the Milner deal, which we probably should have done, then so be it. I dont care how much people slate MON, he was still the best thing to happen to the club in the past 15-20 years. How on Earth could they have done that when by the looks of things he wasn't prepared to bring the wage bill down? Speculate to accumulate?

  10. To be honest, I was a big fan of MON, despite the players he bought, the wages he paid, blah, blah, blah. It was still MON that gave us some of the best football we have seen for a good few years at Villa Park. In answer to the topic question, my answer would be a resounding NO, I am NOT a happy Villa fan at the moment.. I suppose I really should have gotten over MON by now, but I always think what could have been, if the club had done things (financially) different with him.
  11. I have a bad feeling that we are going to lose this very late on!
  12. Is AM going to make a change and try and win this very winnable game? Is he ****, he loves the 0-0 (clearing in the woods)
  13. We are so stuck for ideas going forward, we get 30 yards out then pass the ball around then back to defence... Get **** forward Villa and have a pop...
  14. We shoud really sign Robert Huth in January... Only because his name sounds like our style of play! (Hoof)
  15. zzzzzzzzz..... Strong coffee need for the second half...
  16. Cuellar the best player on the pitch at the moment...
