Clap him, he's already stuck with us through more than most footballers would have these days. Your lucky if your heroes stay around for 3 years or so in this era before they're off - unless you are Man U. I'd question his judgement though, Liverpool is not a good move IMHO. As for Benitez, I dislike the guy more every day.

Neither do I but I imagine I will back every decision they make for the rest of the season (and longer). He's the manager Villa fans wanted and the manager other fans envy. No more to be said

Great interview in my book simply because he has called the transfer window foolish. It is and I would imagine the majority of football supporters don't want it. So well done Martin. He was also spot on about the 4 minutes at Old Trafford. Give the guy a break.

When I saw this on Football Focus I thought that the BBC probably wouldn't define Cult the same as me and I certainly wouldn't want the likes of Lawrenson narrowing down my choice to three. So I'm glad to see this thread and add my support for Eamon Deacey (that goal against Norwich!)
