just been on the official site to look at the squad for the upcoming season and noticed that Burke and Johnson are still in the squad, even though their numbers have been taken by the Bomb squad. i don't know whether they'll get those numbers back once we've got rid of a few, or whether they won't feature as much next season.

Something i thought was interesting though was the inclusion in the squad of Janoi Donacien, is he going to be in the matchday squads for the upcoming season? haven't seen anything from him myself but i keep reading nothing but praise throughout the internet when his name pops up

Think he will probably be loaned out this season - if not for the entire season then at least part of it. Has showed up well but probably needs to be playing first-team football on a weekly basis to bring his game on to the level required and that would perhaps be more beneficial for him. Would suggest he will move to League One club before the end of the window.

i was washing last seasons kit for a few months and it was absolutely fine, one day my mum puts it through for me and both the "men" on the shoulders curled up and the sponser started looking worn. so yeah it's how you wash it, i love the shirts quality its nice to wear

i have got a good feeling about him and albrighton this year, i think a full pre-season with a group of similar age players who are all confident and growing together, with a manager like lambert, could really bring out the best in him and put him in the best position to move forward. if this just doesn't happen though he's definitely a great 4th choice CB and could also be sold if he was desperate for 1st team action. pretty much the exact same could be said of Albrighton

just wondering that now i've bought my season ticket will i be able to access avtv for free to watch the pre-season games? when does my free subscription activate?

right i've been looking at the squad numbers 35+ and here's how i see it

35 - Given [Doncaster or MLS]

36 - N'Zogbia [Ligue1 or stay]

37 - Stevens [Championship season loan]

38 - Delfouneso [Championship]

39 - Bent [???]

40 - Ireland [???]

41 - Hutton [loan then leave]

42 - Bannan [blackburn]

i can see N'zog staying, he looks the most likely out that lot to fit in next season and put the effort in. also the injury might force him to stay

no idea how we're going to get rid of ireland or bent, there must be someone who would be happy to take them on but i don't know who that would be.

thought he was on his way. i can't think of anyone who would be willing to take a punt on him but there will be someone out there, it just depends how much we want for him, which i hope isn't too much. i think he could be a really useful player, but it's never going to happen here now, same can be said for every member of the bomb squad, all can be great players, all have one problem with their game and all are now incapable of playing for us because of the way they have been unceremoniously frozen out

 

I've done the finance option this year... It won't affect my credit rating will it?

As with any finance deal, if you default a payment yes your rating will be affected, but if you pay on time then your rating won't be affected

 

i ,know that they are done by lots of people and are completely above board and everything but i still get a bit nervous whenever i use them. rang them up today though, re-confirmed my card details, moved the direct debit to the last day of the month and talked through it again, they were brilliant and i'm not unsure about it at all now

this is my first season ticket and first time i'll have been to more than 5 or 6 games, so i'm pretty excited about all this, hope the excitment doesn't wear off by the end of the liverpool game

I used to sit 5 rows up directly behind the goal. I loved being right next to the pitch and hearing what wa going on and really felt in the game. I think you still get the atmosphere too. There's just one berk who shouts at the top of his voice and shouts every swear word under the son. I know you get swearing at matches and fully expect it but he's just crude. Can't believe no one has complained or he hasn't been chucked out yet.

Yes you get wet! If the winds blowing in that direction. I've got wet a few times and i'm row L4 row N.

 

Sometimes I wish the atmosphere was a bit better, as I feel like sometimes if the atmosphere flat i'm the only one singing!

do you not quite get the same feel as you do when the holte is rocking then? i was quite far forward for the sunderland game, L10 i think, and second half you could it still felt electric, if you lose that at the front i'd rather fork out a bit more cash

i wanna buy a season ticket, thinking of going lower holte in that band, the first few rows where it's slightly cheaper, are they good seats for the season? i have sat there once or twice before and thought they were great, didn't understand why they were cheaper, has it got something to do with the elements?

MMFy, I would agree with BOF, seems like your mind is made up and you need to here it from someone else, it will obviously be difficult leaving someone after 4 years but it sounds like it will be for the best long-term.

This webb guy who has travelled out to join the villa squad, is he an unknown or i have not been following the academy enough? i had heard of the likes of carruthers, burke, drennan, devine and donacien, is there a chance this guys gonna be good? good enough to play second fiddle to lowton?

thought this article was really interesting, i didn't see it at the time, but he clearly was loving football and was enjoying working under Lambert. 6 months later he's being pushed out the door seems like a pretty extreme turnaround. was there a fallout or is it something more?

I'm not that into movies, tv series, or games Czechlad, but I most like to watch or play stuff that is emotionally deep, with long story arcs, I also love a bit of nostalgia, hence the pokemon thing. there was an episode recently where ash saw a charmander, started talking about his and eventually got his charizard back into his team and had a battle.

massive fan of Luther because of the emotions involved in that, there was a program called "the deep" on once which was pretty heavy emotionally, that sort of thing

people who decide to increase the volume of their conversation when you are coming near to make sure you are aware of them talking.

I don't understand, do they want me to join in with them? do they feel a high level of self-importance? do they think I could give a... about their conversation?

people having ill-informed arguments about religion, either religion vs atheism or different religions arguing. these arguments seem to drag in the most clueless people and make them feel as though there thoughts should be aired, and even worse, listened to.

I suppose part of the problem is that I've never "committed" myself to a girl that I really like, if it is a girl I do like I stall and don't go for them until they get bored of waiting and find someone else.
