It's June. June. Watch the cricket and relax ffs.
That's not to anybody in particular, just cannot believe some of the stress. We're loaded, great manager, good cake that needs some icing / cherries, great owners, European football.
This is the best position we've been in for a long, long time. And its still June. Holiday time.
Are you saying we're in for Bournemouth players?

Between us and West Ham would be close probably, but surely he'd choose Villa. Better manager, bigger club, brighter future I'd say, finished 7 places and over 20 points higher last season despite having Slippy for a third of the season. West Ham are also losing their captain and best player which will be a massive loss and they won't be buying anyone as good to replace him. In Torres' case in particular he'd be working with a manager he's worked with before too and he's probably not aware of who Moyes even is, plus they're more of a physical counter attacking team which wouldn't work for Torres whose style suits a team that plays possession football.
We've got two crests as well!
West Ham only have one - the plebs.

Very meh home kit.
Keen to hear @NurembergVillan's thoughts on it. The claret line that runs along where the shoulder meets the sleeve seems really poorly done. Not sure whats going on there. It doesn't even line up properly.

Can’t see Goncalves now we’ve signed Tielemans
I know people say that Tielemans has been unfit this season and carrying some extra weight, but this is a bit harsh.

Does Haaland remind anyone else of Majin Buu from Dragon Ball Z?

These puns are invalidated by the fact that it's pronounced Monki.
Monkey puns, though, fill yer boots.
In the video that Wes posted, he introduces himself, and it's as "Mon-chee".

Douglas Luiz.
Luiz has the rugged handsomeness.
Asensio has the "boy-next-door" dreaminess, like Moreno.

With Sanson out on loan, we need another player to bring the handsomeness ratio back into balance at Villa.
Asensio could be that man.

Surprised to see this.
Thought he was awful and heavily favoured Liverpool.
They should have had 5 yellows first half chopping down our breakaways.
They continually fouled us and threw us down to get the ball.
Then he gave the silly never a foul dives when a defender is under pressure to both sides, moreso to them.
Funnily enough, I thought the ref was actually decent. I would say that Fabinho's yellow was given far too late, but apart from that, I think most of the other decisions were actually correct and fair for both teams. I'm not even sure that the 10 mins added time was wrong - it seems like the proper amount of time is finally being added to games these days, post World Cup, and viewers and players just aren't used to it. The 3 or so minutes added on at the Wolves game was a joke and should have probably been 10 mins.
Stopping the clock for breaks in play is the obvious solution that no one wants to implement for some reason - it would just remove all the dodginess.

That is *chef's kiss* @Teale's 'tache.
You're even making that horrendous sponsor logo look bearable.
Also using the lion without the shield mirroring the 1878 one is genius.

Bloody hell Ty.

Feels to me McGinn and Luiz aren't working hard enough to find the space in the centre of the park to give Mings and Konsa options.

The Barcelona subreddit is on suicide watch right now. They're stunned that little ole' Aston Fookin' Villa is stealing their prized DOF from them.
"Why would he go to Villa? They don't have oil money..."
Wow, I checked out that subreddit as well, and him leaving is universally being seen as a massive loss for them.
Sounds promising for us, if true.

Buendia is brilliant at finding those little pockets of space.

The 6 points isn't the issue.
I get optimism and all that, but I don't see how people can blatantly ignore the clubs around us with games in hand. lol
Realistically, we need to keep winning just to stay in 6th ffs, and even then, we could still win and not finish 6th.
Brighton just need a draw to leapfrog us on GD with a game in hand for example.
We'd have to win near all our remaining games to have a chance of finishing 4th.
Let's be sensible, even as we break down barriers week by week.
I feel this is why some people often end up dissappointed.
While you're absolutely correct, this logic hasn't stopped me putting a cheeky $10 bet on us finishing in the top 4
