    Yes it nearly happened in 2006 or 2007 when attendances dropped. It annoys me when people on these forums and in general think they are better fans as they attend matches. A lot of people can't afford to or would prefer to spend their money on things they know they will be satisfied with. For me at the moment it is spending money on a night out with friends or a woeful Aston Villa team the first option wins every time.

    Why do people say pitch invasions are embarrasing? At the moment we have one chance a year of progressing to a final by winning at our home stadium and if the second leg is away then this chance is cancelled out. Its like saying celebrating your birthday is embarrasing or christmas.

    I just think its ridiculous id pay £30 for villa v arsenal when you can have a season ticket for one of the best teams in the world bayern munich for under 150 pound full adult. I just feel sorry for fans who go every week and are bankrolling these players who do little or nothing for this club and a vast amount who are totally woeful.

    I wouldnt mind going to the final but ive been to two matches at new wembley and the tickets are rip offs and the atmosphere of the new ground is gash. A lot cheaper to watch at home

    Im really suprised this one will be over 40k. After the last month of terrible performances I was never gonna pay to watch this especially at those prices.

    I can't believe people are still backing Lambert. Hes brought up mostly average or poor players in the summer and hasnt signed anyone even on loan in this window. Mcleish did better for us than he did and thats no joke.

    Ive calmed down a bit now but I want him gone ASAP. We are a joke they nearly won at the end and in every match you just feel the opposition will score. People can say he didnt get the backing he spent 20 million 10 or so of it on league 1 standard players. Please Please sack Lambert Im losing my will to follow this team with him.
