Absolutely awful. Here is what Smith did wrong: -Not playing Jack in the middle - not using any players with pace - not changing / resting elhomady for Guilbert - playing Jota from the start - not using kodja earlier Here is what did right - picking hause again maybe Other than that he was all over the place. The team has no cohesion and this comes from the players picked. We fell apart drastically. Manger to blame . Yes definitely. Sackable. Not yet, but we are desperate for new recruits and some sort of springboard. He needs to learn quickly.

It's a terrible team selection. No out ball available, so,despite their poor showing in the last few games trez or el ghazi need to be on and jack moved to the middle. I would also think about Guilbert. Poor first half indeed

It's a good point but can we afford to drop el ghazi and trez at the same time. With them and guibert on the bench we have no pace

It's all very well dropping them for not performing but you need replacements who offer a like for like replacement or offer something different. Not sure our replacements do

It is really not a Bruce team. Look at the differences from recent weeks 1. One up too. 2. Right back not at left back. 3. No Jedinak 4. Grealish in middle 5. Albert back 6. Tuanazbe at centre half. Many changes needed. First and foremost in Brucies mindset. We have the best players and therefore should be capable of playing more expansive footy. Our best games have been with Bjarnason as a holding midfielder. Brucies awful decisions have led to nearly every defeat this season. Whether it be no Adomah picked in early games, 442 against wolves. 532 when we dont have the players. Over loading strikers im games. Sometimes he seems clueless. I say if we dont go up we should get a new tactically astute manager.

Hi. I've been a villa fan since I was 5 years old. Mainly due to the fact that I saw Brian Little in old football annual! I've seen more.lows than highs but still villa through and through. I am currently living in Seville and watch the games in my.local bar. I am currently trying to convince my 5 year old to be a villa and betis fan!
