  1. how mcleish gets the blame for a silly 16 minutes is beyond me. manager never to blame today. jokers.
  2. probably told them to pass the ball backwards, then hoof it up and not to go too far forwards. hes negative isnt he? and hes not a motivator and cant do anything right. bull.
  3. I love how mcleish seems to get more stick when he wins. People are saying we got lucky with 2 wonder strikes. Ok Keane didnt do a lot else in the game, but mcleish put him in the hole and he won us the match, if its the managers fault when he takes ireland off against swansea why isnt it him who gets praised when he brings in someone who can find the net. Seems to me that if we play well its cause the players did well not mcleish but if were no good its all mcleish and his tactics fault and nothing to do with the players. I also saw someone write "a team of our stature".....what stature? we are no better than Sunderland/Fulham/Everton. All of your high expectations are the reason your all moaning at mcleish and they are extremely too high.
  4. can no one on this site look past the manager and see how poor we are at the back the amount of people ive seen moaning warnock should be dropped and then u moan when clark gets put in. jokers.
  5. dosent stop running was about the only truth in that post. dosent beat the first man with most crosses might have been the next bext truth with dosent play well against decent opposition next in line i respect he gives 100% and there is possibly potential but i cant see why "super Marc" is the saviour when hes not on the pitch. take a non bias look as him when he's on it.
  6. Tbf to him he gives 100% whenever hes on the pitch, but i just dont think he's good enough. Bit like John Carew though really, fans loved him cause he was good for a bit but in the end wasnt all that. Albrighton does have the odd good game but his last 2 have been against bolton and brighton, Speaks for itself really. Also yesterday he was up againast baines.
  7. MON had 100m and wasted it. no need to talk about him. hes the main reason weve got nothing to show other than darren bent from lerners investments.
  8. we have seen mcleish change the team countless times trying to find the right combination of players. all we can do is sit and watch and hope that things come good.
  9. and when we really look like were going to go down i will get on his back like everyone else fulham won 5 sunderland won 5 everton won 7 these are the teams people are comparing us to. if we didnt give away silly set piece goals we would have won way more games. set piece goals arent the managers fault. there is only so much you can pin on a man not on the pitch before you need to look at the players on it.
  10. there is no realistic replacement for warnock collins might not have got his place back if hutton hadnt been sent off because cuellar had a good game so your saying we need to replace 3 of our back 4, ok but with which 3 replacements?? heskey like i just said has been dropped recently however he comes looking for the ball more than bent does in my opinion you can say all you want about bent bieng isolated but he dosent work hard enough, he played in a 4 4 2 yesterday with gabi and still had the least touches of the ball.... against a league 2 side and has missed countless sitters this season albrighton is 50/50 each game, sometimes he plays well others not, he came on against swansea and couldnt beat the first man with a cross. agbonlahor drifted wide against arsenal when he was played up front on his own leaving the box empty, i agree hes not a winger but perhaps we should only play 1 wide man and let gabi have a bit of a roam out wide and down the middle at his own choice. the gap with no1 to pass to is really the players fault because they need to come looking for the ball and it comes down to us having no movement in the centre of the park, we dont move the ball quick enough, however i think ireland is the player to unlock this problem because of the little runs he makes into the gap. however because our players take so long on the ball they dont use the quick movement of someone like ireland. like i said in the last 4 league games there has been harly any hoof whatsoever and we have been trying to play football. blame the manager all you want, im not saying hes gods gift although it might look like it but people need to look at our players and see that theyre not performing. look how many teams use 4 2 3 1 and it works. so why not with us??? because of the manager. i think not.
  11. they are indeed, im just trying to make people think twice about their opinion because i think people rushed into negativity and stereotypical comments towards the manager. just because the blues fans said hes negative it was easy for us to turn around and say that. when the clear problem for our players not coming forward was there is no movement from CM or creativity for that matter and thats why i think he bought jenas in. in the last 4 league games the manager has managed to drop heskey and get dunne, and collins especially to keep the ball on the floor. anyone who says he isnt a motivator or anything like that needs to have a look at him down on the touchline when hes screaming at the players and think really is he shoouting at them telling them to pass backwards or defend a 0 - 0 draw. okay against tottenham we did have a negative setup but lately things are getting slightly better with the better performances from ireland and nzog but it just seems people still find things to pick at all the time.
  12. dont know why i bothered to be honest, been watching the site for ages and i just thought id see if there actually was any people who supported the club as a whole, but obviously not. no point checking the poll cause this site is full of negative members. almost as "negative" as my darling mcleish
  13. Yes, a victory against a struggling League 2 side changes everything... All hail McWonderful. To bad our dynamic midfield maistro Heskey got injured, but im sure McLeish will make it work by playing Robbie Keane as left back. good to see weve got optomistic supporters isn't it. i dont understand why people like you bother.

  15. I was a huge fan of bent until this season, I watched a video of all him goals last season and most of the assists came from walker, downing or young. we havn't had that sort of supply line this season so he hasnt been a lot of use, dosent really work hard for the team or show for the ball. In fact Heskey comes looking for the ball more than bent does. I always used to go mad when gabi was plaued out wide however in a way i think sometimes he enjoys it. Against arsenal he played up front on his own and kept drifting out and leaving no one in the box when the delivery was ready to come in from out wide. for me id play gabi in the middle and give him a bit more of a roam by playing 1 wide man in nzog and ireland just behind the centre forward to support if gabi does drift. is bent that centre forward though???? but if we was to be sold who is the replacement? if it was liverpool it could involve a swap for caroll??? however this could encourage dunne and collins to return to hoofing the ball up the pitch. but who else is out there who is going to please villa fans??
  16. has GC let you stay up late tonight because we won? im guessing your normally tucked away snuggled up in bed for 6pm most saturdays ? you still havented answered any of my previous questions on how the team is set up, who is responsibly for tactics, purchases, style of play and so on. i wonder why that is... oh wait, no i dont, everyone else knows the answer but you. i will give you a heavy clue GC is not a good manager, i can understand your family loyalty however mis placed. night night right so firstly team set up 4 2 3 1 how is playing gabi ireland nzog and bent negative or not attacking in any way??? tactics i dont think are that bad, were clearly lacking creativity in the centre of the park, you can say nagative all you want but thats just cause youve heard blues fans say it and you dont like him purchases... which ones, he hasnt had a real chance in the market yet, ok hutton is not the best and jenas is crocked, but if you ask me superstar MON's purchases were terrible and its his fault were in the situation we are... 100m and nothing to show style of play is the same as tactics, missing quality. blame mcleish all you want but no one has given him a chance to settle with his own team etc... then slag him off... not just cause he came from blues.
  17. your a joke you just keep blaming the manager for every tiny thing that happens. in fact i rekon dunnes misplaced pass was his fault am i right? he is the manager and he chooses the tactics and tells the players what to do and is negative and boring. so by your comments it was his fault and warnocks hand ball probably was aswell.
  18. youve just contradicted yourself horribly, if the players arent doing what they should its the managers fault??? dosent quite make sense so if your doing something wrong when your at work its your managers fault?? im not suggesting theyre not listening, im suggesting that were not playing any better than we did with houlier so therefore its the players not the manager in the first place.
  19. i didnt realise it was the manager who has the shots in the game? or the one who creates chances by making moves in the centre of midfield? you just keep slagging off our "negative" manager by doing such "positive" things as booing players such as hutton when they get bought on as a sub.
  20. we havent been hoofing the ball forward in recent matches, even collins has calmed down on it youve obviosuly condemmed mcleish before hes been given a real chance so you just carry on....
  21. like ive said countless times, playing ireland nzogbia agbonlahor and bent out all in 1 team, yeah looks like a front 4 going out to defend a "0-0 win" correct? he didnt have the best players at his expense at blues but they all put 100% in week in week out, rare you see it from our players. the manager is takin all the flack for the fact we have no creation on the pitch, and you can blame him for that all you like but hes not controlling the players from the sidelines.
  22. season ticket holder for 13 years, and im only 20!!!! so no need to question how many games ive seen i dont see all this anti football people talk about, i see a lack of creativity and quality we are in a battle with 14 other teams like i have said a few times. all we can do is try to be the best of the rest. the reason we havent replaced young and downing is cause we havent got the money. we bought nzogbia who is extremely similar to those 2 players, okay we havent seen the best of him yet but still... you keep making up excuses to dislike mcleish cause he came from the blues and ill keep bieng realistic.
  23. no mate you need to get real im afraid quick passing in midfield came from young and downing. SOLD as for your questions who picks the team? the manager - whats been wrong with his team selection lately? he watches them train everyday and picks the right team if you ask me i dont think our style of football is that bad, i think we dont have someone creative enough to make us look any better which is why it is good ireland n nzogbia are getting better. what do you know about what tactics he tells the players to use??? from what i can see hes told collins to stop hoofing the ball up all the time and try and pass so that throws hoof and anti football out the window and he hasnt exactly chosen many signings yet has he so lets give him a bit longer on that one. he cant sign much worse than martin oneil did. any good manager with MON's budget would have signed a lot better players and we would have a lot more to show for it than we do now. you can say im making excuses but everyone else is making excuses to hate him. how about people start taking some positives. oh maybe not cause mcleish is so negative himself so why dont all us supporters be the same
  24. Hutton who was dropped for the last home game? obviously noticed. another person who just wants to slag off mcleish and hasnt looked what hes done.
  25. you can blame the manager all you like, thats all anyone seems to want to do in this feed anyway. if you werent watching matches with such a bias opinion you might notice something a bit different. its so easy for everyone to point the finger at mcleish but people are blaming him for every single thing that happens on the pitch. as for gabby playing RW, against arsenal he played down the middle and the amount of times he drifted wide and we needed someone in the box was ridiculous, if bent was playing i think we would have won that game. at the end of the day you can say the players play to the system theyre told to. so the manager plays 4 2 3 1 and then tells the players not to attack? wrong. i have seen fans in the holte end stand up and shout at mcleish when a pass goes wrong and its absolutely pathetic. in the last 4 games collins has stopped hoofing and heskey has stopped playing yet people are STILL unhappy. we are now one of the teams who fall into the catagory of not bieng man u man city chelsea arsenal liverpool tottenham we are fighting with the rest and that is why we win 1 week and not the next. we are average. okay you can say we have a better squad. but really do we? I have seen bent miss countless chances this season that a "goalscorer" would have scored, he hardly does any work at all up front and is not really helping a lot at the moment. our keepers have shown good form this season defensively we have faults mainly in our full backs. what makes our midfield better than Fulhams, sunderlands or evertons? ok ireland and nzogbia are starting to look a bit better which may help but i just cant see why everyone thinks were underperforming. oh sorry i forgot..... its the manager
