As an aside I see the gulf in class of reporting between the speculation merchants in the UK who have been busy chasing the wrong cars and making links up.
Compare that to Guillem Balague who is like "Yeah I called him up and spoke to him Sunday about it, he was really excited and told me his staff plans., cant wait till he announces that you will be happy."
Thats a real sports journalist with real contacts.

I thank you for the information re Labour in terms of numbers. Good to hear progress is being made across the board. Still we should all applaud the Conservatives progressive achievements in top leadership positions. It is important to address in positions of power.

The biggest managerial name we have appointed as far as I can remember. We have had very good managers who became big with us, but I cant think of any who came in the door with a bigger CV than Emery.

No qualifications, they have done something good today.

I absolutely love how the owners have utterly humiliated the clueless sports press and "itk" guessers yet again.
They were all busy telling us we were too small for a top proven manager like Emery or Poch or Tuchel and that the search hadnt started.
Turns out it was already done days ago and in less than a week it was all signed done and dusted.

As much as I would like to say what he did was obvious, it wasnt to me before he did it. He definitely seems to have known exactly how to use Bailey for example. Something that has eluded previous head coaches.
His formation was very straightforward and nicely balanced over the pitch. No more of this "we are super narrow but still surrender the center" nonsense Gerrard had them playing.
Even his gentle dropping of McGinn was tactfully done. Martinez demands respect and has always been a second captain on the pitch anyway (as has Tyrone tbf) but you could see the lift that one change made. It was classy when Villa fans chanted McGinn's name when he came on., Thats how its done. No drama, good players go in and out of form. Buendia and Coutinho will battle it out for that creative spot. Great. Sensible. no drama.
I just loved how utterly sensible it all was, easy to understand. Enjoyable to see the players expressing themselves clearly playing with more freedom.
Danks more than earned his wage packet. Good job.-

For some reason they've just focused on him saying that if we solely just wanted to try and avoid relegation then Dyche would be a good fit. I weirdly was in agreement with him for possibly the first time ever, before today I was worried we were so short of confidence and ability that we will be in a relegation battle but we were so good that I have thrown that way of thinking out of my mind.
Thanks for the clarification. I find Sherwood to be pretty quality as a pundit. Good to hear he was being balanced again.
