  1. It's been over 7 months and I still can't get my head around this guy as our manager.

I've been reading the H&V site abit and what a bunch of happy clappers. There's quite a few who are making excuses for him despite the statistics proving why he has relegations. Some take it further by thinking he's doing a good job. :|

Whats H&V stand for? Sounds like a good place.

  2. Except that Ashley for Newcastle has NOT been a bad owner - a PR disaster, but not a bad owner. The Toon are now debt free, with a decent manager and a good squad. He has maximised club revenue wherever possible eg. Carroll sale, stupid stadium naming rights (again bad PR not bad business)

The Toon are now a stable top half of the PL club, and the man that they have to thank for that is Fat Mike, whether they like him or not.

    Well said.

  3. Sir Charles will come good. He is getting better and you can see how frustrated he is with himself at times. He also looks angry when he gets subbed which I like. He wants to play and do well. I bet he will.

  4. Paul Lambert? Great up and coming manager who gets his team playing attractive and effective football. Far better than the useless tw*t we have at the moment.

Then again, the main problem is Lerner. Hope he sells up to someone responsible soon and puts his English experiment to bed.

Just to put into perspective, Wigan's manager turned us down. Wigan. Why would Norwich's manager want to come and work for a club that may well end up lower in the league than Norwich?

  5. Tough to shake a kind of lethargy though. I just have this feeling we are drifting into another no mans land season. Not going to get relegated but not going to be in europe. Tough to get excited to be honest.

Thats not just us it has to be said, unless you support a Manchester team, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal or Chelsea there is very little to get excited about this year. Whats the point? All the Europe spots are taken and money buys the league so there is no hope of even dreaming of that.

Shrug. The Premier League feels pretty stratified this year particularly given the tedium of what appears to be another ManU win.

  6. I understand people wanting to stay away because of low expectations. But the way we have played since AMc took over has been attacking, attractive football improving from game to game. Its a show that will bring in the crowds if we keep it up.
