He didn't assist in either Hibs game, did he? Am I missing something?Transfermarkt has him down for 10 league assists but other sources say 8. I assume some count penalties won as assists and the others don't.

Ollie has 11 goals and 8 assists
If you include the Hibs game it's 14 and 10

so are stud up challenges in to peoples shins ok now?!
it seems so.
I'm surprised a player could do that to a Liverpool player without getting a red. Probably worth a sin bin if they ever get round to trialling it.

City paid £4m when he was still only sixteen, that's how highly rated he was one, he had already played for West Brom's first team.
And it's not as if he's been a massive flop since then, or if he disappared off the scene, he was one of the best players in a League One team that reached Play-Off final, at that point would have still only been seventeen or eighteen.
Then had a couple of seasons in the Championship, stats might not look super impressive, but I think he was injured for a big chunk of spell at Bournemouth and his other club was Blackpool, not exactly easy for any youngster to impress in a team that are likely to be one of the strugglers in their league point is he was still good enough to be playing Championship level at such a young age.
And now he's showing why he was so highly rated when younger, but it's not as if he's a late bloomer, as he's still only twenty-one, and in the mean time, he's being doing better than most other players his age in his development years
It sounds like a few of the big clubs were interested in Rogers when he went to City, I wonder if one was Arsenal when Unai was there and he has kept tabs on him since and liked what he saw in the FA Cup game.

Didn't he use us to sign a new contract when Smith was in charge?
Anyway, it's a no from me for Smith-Rowe, overpriced, overrated english player who's also injury prone. We could probably get someone from La Liga just as good if not better for a fraction of the price.
I never really get the 'he used us to get a new contract' thing. What probably happened is we bid, Arsenal turned it down and offered him a new contract because back then he was one of the best prospects at the club.

Must've listened to this 100 times before realising how dark the lyrics actually are

See you've learned something.
'Mom' is a Brummie thing too.

Why don't you ask that to everyone else on here?
Not maybe people set their stall out so early on a signing having barely seen them play. People sometimes say, 'bit skeptical about this one' or 'don't fancy the look of it' but you've literally posted over several pages about how bad a signing this is, so it's fair enough you got asked considering how insistent you've been.

Looks like we are basically doing what we all do on Football Manager. I've confidence our scouts are identifying the right talent.

Some of those saves and catching of crosses remind me of Emi a lot. I've been hoping we go for a keeper like this. I assume we would send him back on loan as well.

Why does VAR even have to be sat elsewhere when there is a monitor on the ground? If the onfield ref, linos, or 4th official want to review something, just let them check the pitchside monitors themselves.
I assume the equipment used is fairly complex and uses more than one screen. The VAR then plays to the ref what he wants/needs to see.

the source of this tale seems to be Benjamin Robert Haydon , who heard it from John Carew ( not THE John Carew)
There was a John Carew executed for the regicide of Charles I a couple of hundred years earlier too. They must rise every now and then to do something historic.

That's where being able to hear what they're talking to each other about would be handy. None of us had a clue about the process they were going through.

Is Trump just a natural fascist or had he been trained in it?
I suspect he's a bit dim, a sociopath and narcissist and surrounded by fascists. They get what they need from each other and I truly hope the undecided voters aren't stupid enough to decide to go for Trump in the election.

It's voted for by the players isn't it? Some of them are probably too dumb to remember the World Cup was in the year before.

I'm going to see what the food looks like and go from there. Anyway my post has become a bit trivial since I posted it, sorry to hear that @Seat68

Would be a good move for everyone, as long as we can find a replacement. Hopefully Unai has a gem like Moreno up his sleeve. It doesn't look like we are in for Phillips anyway.
